RAPHA vs RAISY I GRAND FINAL - Barcelona KeenCon 2023

Barcelona KeenCon 2023 was held on November 10th-12th in Rubí (Barcelona), hosting a LAN Party of the Quake Champions videogame with 32 participants from 14 countries.
The official 1V1 tournament started on Friday 10th with a Group Stage formed by 4 groups of 8 players from which the top 4 of each group qualified for the playoffs.
The double-elimination playoffs took place on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th and were streamed in full with huge ratings success on Twitch at / keencontv

yeah i feel kinda bad for raisy. when it comes to a big championship, someone always gets just a little stronger than raisy, if not rapha then vengeur, killsen or maxter. that must be very frustrating for raisy, but i still admire his effort and hope he will eventually get his title

Bro, what is this perspective that you're already giving Raisy with your question "sadly just another second place"!? I mean, I know - everybody comes to become first.. But Raisy has to be scoring second places most consistently maybe after Cypher in Quake history! And since we all know that at this level a loss is often times not attributed to the opponent playing badly - it's just that the respective player simply has one of those days and plays absolutely _perfect_ - but that is not consistent.. So although I know that it hurts to end up second all the time - in a sense I would say that Raisy scoring second places over and over again is even more testiment to his skill than scoring first place once..
