Then they adjust altitude to that around 15k' and instruct you to remove your mask so you can experience the inability to think while hypoxic. I was the last to put my mask back on so they asked me how many two-for-a-nickel cigars I could buy with 15 cents. I answered 6 but they told me to put my mask back on. What? 8? 10?

I remember the one that got many semi-hypoxic trainees after a rapid decompression simulation was getting them to progressively subtract 3 from a 101. Most never accurately got past 95.

Been in this very chamber cept we had sudden depressurization. Loud bang, immediately unable to see your hand in front of your face. You got 3 seconds to get your mask to your face or go unconscious. Freal.

That's what we got for ours too. This one looked pretty calm. At mine there was a loud bang with fog and one of the seats was instantly inflated and sent my buddy flying like 3 ft off his seat, cause he was bent over because the instructor told him his boot was untied haha

​@@jameswest8280 Not if you are a fully paid member of the JetBlue "Mint" Card club. This allows passengers five seconds of exclusive breathable air at no charge. 100% oxygen flow through the mask is also available after pushing the "accept all charges" button on the oxygen management console (debiting your credit card straight away). Membership can have its privileges, you know.
