That is a pretty good option for a quick deploy ridge line. I use a loop like you do around the first tree but prefer a nite ize figure 9 for the second, still with the prusik knots in the middle. There are many good variations on these setups and we all have our own preferences. If the figure 9 fails, I'll just tie it off. There is really no right or wrong way if it goes up and down quickly with no fuss!

Exactly. I love the one dave did with the toggles shere they are preset. I just hate solid parts on a bendy rope it doesn't pack well for the way I carry my gear personally. I gotta try the figure 8
