The weird thing is how much the stats are completely detached from the weapon it is apparently based on. The real CETME Ameli is a very cumbersome weapon (weight and length), has an extremely high fire rate (1200rpm, not 600rpm) and relatively low bullet power being 5.56mm compared to 7.62x51mm LMGs. It's like at some point the Chain-SAW and Ameli bullet-stats (damage profile, recoil, rate of fire) just got flipped.

Hey Amish, I heard a rumor that the Ameli has increased kick for the first 3 shots, and the LSAT has reduced kick for the first 3. Something to look into when you have a moment.

The only enjoyable time ever for me in a cod was with MW3 and use the Golden M60 + Rapid fire and Grip. That was just awesome fun to use.

I was an avid M60 user in Mw3 . Though i really don't like the Ameli nearly as much. It feels like its not as good as the M60 was in medium range. Not to saw i don't use the Ameli, i use it close range on maps like Strikezone and Tremor to take advantage of its 2hk. Though i use it with rapid fire. to speed it up further.

I loathe the extra kick on the first 3 shots. Makes burst firing feel like such a pain when you start with a value of 77 going up instead of 62. Makes a Grip borderline mandatory for me.

rapid fire grip and muzzle brake or flash hider 2 shot kills low recoil at like 22 metres ithink and with the high fire rate u can hip fire

It really goes to show that Infinity Ward is running out of ideas, they make a weapon modeled after the MG42 (a WW2 weapon) and give it similar stats to a previous weapon in the franchise. Ohh boy, what will they think of next?

It sucks that they nerfed it so much from real life. It's got a 630 RoF instead of it's 800-1,200 rounds/min it should have. The recoil is almost non-existant in it's real life counterpart too. Not suprising since it's supposed to be an alternating to the M240.
