Nice reaction👍🏻. I always think it is unfair to compare a cover with the original song from a movie due to a number of factors: 1. The original singer is the one who brought the composition to life. It is far easier for another professional singer who has heard the song countless times to recreate it with little improvements. 2. In case of old songs, the recording technology was comparatively inadequate to today's . 3. When a playback singer sings for a movie, he/she has to try and suit his/her voice to suit the respective actor, the situation in the movie and sometimes even the character.They also have to be true to the music composer's creation. Whereas, someone making a cover has the liberty to sing it any which way he or she wants with no limitations. Even the music can be modified to suit today's listener. So, I think comparing different covers of a song is alright but the original should alwaysbe appreciated for being the original and should be relieved from any comparison.

This is real music,it's the purest form of music. Nothing is fake from singers voice to the instruments used , In those days the male and female singers,the chorus,the musicians, etc all had to record at the same spot at the same time with pin point perfection to produce such GOAT songs, whereas in a duet the male singer records his part and the female singer will record when she gets time may be in 1 hour or after 2 days and for music you have electronic devices.

Exactly because they don't even know how much hard work was done by singers in Lata Ji's era. So many rehearsals with 100s of musicians and singing live in studio and recording so much difficult compositions based on hindustani classical raaga in a single take and most of the singers nowadays can't even sing a single line in tune while performing live and they can't find the correct pitch of the song without chords being played on guitar or keyboards and in the old songs no chord was played before singing started, singers had to be spot on with their pitch while singing and they all were perfect bcz of their riyaaz and nowadays most of the singers don't even care about practicing to sing in tune bcz they have autotune everywhere even in LIVE.
