Carrie Underwood is "just" a farm girl from Oklahoma. She was the American Idol winner way back when, and was called "fat" by detractors. She wasn't, and never was. She's gorgeous and is a beautiful soul. She puts on a hella concert, too. Her delivery of Sweet Child 'O Mine is rockin'. She's sung with Axel Rose and Steven Tyler. She also has some great songs that will break you emotionally. "Temporary Home" "Just a Dream"

Well, you got that one right! I do not know a lot about current country music (I abandoned it in the '90's), but I do know who Brad is and Carrie, too. Mr. Paisley is a fine guitarist, writer, and singer. Carrie can sing just about any genre and do it well. It looks like it was filmed at the Bonneville Salt Flats at the Great Salt Lake, Utah.

He sang this song with a virtual Carrie that was so realistic that many in the crowd thought Carrie had shown up! Brad called Carrie one day with an unfinished song asking for a collab. He's so funny he got her laughing and agreed. Now she and her husband are great friends with Brad and his wife. They hosted the CMAs a few years in a row together. Great senses of humor for them both. Carrie has recently been on Epic Gardener i think it was. They came out and put in a greenhouse and built it up inside and she helped them do it. Definitely a country girl!

She's from my neck of the woods. Small town Oklahoma. Ready? My hubby drive truck for the same company as her uncle, my daughter went to the school her aunt taught at and my daughter was actually a singer in some of the same festivals as Carrie. My Cheyenne is a few years younger than Carrie but she won over Carrie at a festival contest the year before Carrie went to Idol. My daughter became an EN, mama and homesteader instead of pursuing a music career bit yes, she sings on that level. (Sorry, a mama has to brag a little. ;) Carrie is incredible and I'm proud as heck that she's a fellow Okie.
