This is beautiful, but I love her live performance of it with Vince Gill at an awards show. She is amazing & Vince does a breath-taking guitar solo too. This girl can sing anything. She sings 'The Champion' with Ludacris 9which I love) & she kinda raps on it, I've seen her do Rock with Steven Tyler of Aerosmith & she even toured with Guns 'n Roses last year. She can make you cry or laugh. Amazing talent. 'Two Black Cadillacs' is cool & has a cool video. 'Before he cheats' is a fun one. ''Blown away' is cool & also really shows off her voice. I enjoy Carrie Underwood's music, and especially this performance very much, however it should be noted that the Sunday Night Football theme is a network mandated rewrite of the Hank Williams, Jr. classic 'All My Rowdy Friends are Coming Over Tonight". The network required the rewrite when they chose to split with ol' Bosephus over politics. I would expect that since not a note of the instrumental was changed, Hank still gets the biggest bag from its continued use, while Carrie likely gets royalties based on the performance alone. Just some background for those not familiar with the controversy.

What a shame. The original version from the CMAs gave me chills like no other. Vince Gill played and incridibly subtle solo. She sounds great here but it is a commercial and corporate reproduction for whatever reason. Shame.

This is not the best version. I can tell this version has been pitch corrected for whatever reason and does not show her true vocals. It makes her voice sound robotic and takes away from how beautiful her vocals truly are naturally. The live version with Vince Gill is the one you need to watch. It will bring you to tears and probably to your feet!! It’s one of the best live performances ever IMO. It brought an entire audience full of the best singers in country music to their feet before the song was even over! I hope you watch that version. ❤
