One of my absolute favourites by Ren to be honest and it really is so hard to choose one bc all are so good in their own way ...but this one has a special little place in my heart.❤ Ren has posted a little earlier today that some of his symptoms have now begun to return quite significantly. The battle isn't over yet for our boi. 😢 I hope that his next round of treatments manage to get rid of this damn infection once and for all 🙏💪 Have you done Crutch feat. Bibi yet? Prada, if you can pull the audio book: Animal Farm book by George Orwell if you're not familiar, (2 hours listen). The Renegades go hard on "Animal Farm book" connected to ANIMAL FLOW SONG video. It makes the music video so much more pleasing to watch and understand how much Ren's team did in preparing the house where the Animal Flow song was shot. Trust me it's worth giving the book a read or listen to connect & fully appreciate the Animal Flow video from Ren & Team.

@@karenkruger3690 As an oldie, born about a generation after the war ended, and having studied this in secondary school, I am somewhat perturbed by your last sentence. As one of the greatest books in modern history, your idea that hearing/reading it will help the listener/reader understand a music video (regardless of how good it is) better, horrifies me somewhat. This book is eclipses Animal Flow in its importance to the world and the generations who have and will study and understand it on an intellectual and political level. Whilst I admit, Ren is the greatest musician (etc...) I have encountered, I would not be half so quick to elevate him to George Orwell's world importance at this point of his career.

The same with its references to A Clockwork Orange, Lord of the Flies, The Shining, Silence of the Lambs, The Witches of Eastwick, The Wind in the Willows, Willy Wonka etc etc. The comment wasnt saying Ren is of greater cultural significance, tho' his impact regarding his talent, his music & the issues he highlights re mental health & medical gaslighting is already huge. For an independent, unsigned artist to have a No.1 album is unheard of.

@payntpot7623 I fully agree with you and did not mean to offend you. George Orwell is one of the greatest writers ever. 1984 Written by him and Animal Farm made a massive impact at school level on my life and the way I live it. We were fortunate enough to have gone through school with Orwell and Shakespeare's Macbeth etc as part of our curriculum and for that I'm thankful. Please bear in mind that a lot of countries did not have that sort of backbone as part of the schooling system (and I believe it was done on purpose). What makes Ren absolutely stand out is his ability to in this day and age through his music not only mention "William" Shakespeare but also through his video of Animal Flo intrigue a modern generation that might not have been so lucky to have these Authors and insight as deep impactful life guides. The divide in education became clear to me when watching the breakdown channels here on Y.T. I found myself very frustrated that the channel owners did not mention or refer to the meaning behind the various song lyrics or videos until I realised that the problem was that they never had Orwell, Shakespeare and the other greats taught to them and had no knowledge (no fault of their own) therefore the messages and callbacks left in Ren's music did not hit the target as intended. Then I started thinking how do we fix this? We have a creator and beautiful soul that through his skill of writing lyrics and his peaceful yet rebellious nature against Government Institutions (Money Game 1,2 and 3) inspired by Orwell 1984 but the message wasn't received by the rapidly growing audiences globally. Telling or forcing breakdown channel owners to go read a bunch of books all at once wasn't going to work as it is human nature to drive a human away from these important fundamental building blocks if we force them to go read. As time went by and watching the reaction channels I found myself connecting with certain channel owners more especially the faces behind a channel that themselves are creating music. I then decided to through mentioning a certain book on a creators channel in a positive way might encourage the channel creator to either read the book or listen to the book as an audiobook before breaking down a specific video, as I know if they do it will spill into the audience of the channel if the channel owner did indeed read or listen to the book before doing a breakdown on a specific Ren video (and it indeed hits the creator or channel owner and audience much harder if they understand the reference or callback of the meaning behind certain Ren masterpieces). I try and keep it light by mentioning the Author in an intriguing way for the channel owner or music creator who owns the channel in the hope the person does some digging and fully grasps the book, then the song by Ren and then carry the knowledge forward to the audience of the channel. I do not know Prada West from a bar of soap, but what I do notice is the total intrigue in Ren's music. Steering Prada West into the inspiration of a song (the meaning behind the lyrics) seems to be our duty. If we watch Prada West's reaction videos it's clear to see he is an individual that question, deep think and would be willing to see where Ren got the inspiration for the meaning of a song by going as far as reading a book or listening to an audio book to fully grasp the intended lyrical song as it was written. I have done this with a few breakdown channels and the feedback from the channel owner was if only I knew before I reacted...it's impossible to do this with every channel but music creators fully intrigued by Ren's masterful writing, it is our duty to try and steer the ship the right way. In a sea full of chaos we live in carrying the message of Orwell is important, if we lived by his knowledge the world would today be a different place. If you have any suggestions of how I can leave my comments to hit the intended channel owner better please help me. We are the vessels that carry the knowledge of Orwell, Shakespeare and the greats, and the current mouthpiece of history is Ren. Without helping listeners and referring to Orwell etc in Ren's music we are losing our history of humankind and what could be, still fighting a system that intentionally kept the important Authors out of school systems in order to prevent forming logical thinking and facts. I find myself looking at Ren SCREAMING to the world these important messages but not everyone will fully understand the messages if we don't tell them and encourage them to the Authors that birthed Ren. Thank you for leaving your comment, through dialogue, we can hopefully find a better way to support important messages in songs and authors by showing how deliberately the education system keeps fundamental learning material from the masses to become better humans.

@sarahholland2600 you are correct Ren's medical condition is fully understood the connection is worldwide and the messages are POWERFUL. Peeling back the layers of the proverbial onion, we do however see mostly musician's reaction channels connecting back to Orwell. If you look at how Knox's lights turned on in his head when realizing on a live recording that Animal Flow connects to Animal Farm it's a beautiful thing to see. The dialogue between Ren and Knox in the following videos shows how much Ren appreciates the meaning of the message received...created in both his lyrics and video of Animal Flow. All I was saying is Animal Flow has so much more meaning viewed through the lens of Animal Farm by Orwell. Prada West can choose if he wants to see it as just a fun song or through another lens. But IF he didn't know, would giving Prada West the option hurt or help him? Our options we offer don't matter it's white noise. But if it does reach even 1 person reading comments that didn't know Orwell, why would we not shine a light into the darkness? The message left was specifically under the Animal Flow song in hope that people might look into it a little deeper, that's all it was intended to do 🌸.

Do the night where Freddie is wearing his yellow jacket and check out the crowd when the song starts. Much better version than Montreal. Feel Like. This is an early studio demo while recording in Montreaux. David Bowie was there and they decided to collaborate on a song. Feel Like is the skeleton of Under Pressure. You can’t hear Freddie real well in part of it but the song is good. Wish they would have finished it.
