Don't ever feel bad about the amount of times you pause a Bo Burnham video. One, you're a reaction channel so it's expected. If people want to hear it in one shot, they can just look up the song. Two, that's the whole point of Bo Burnham. Every single line he says is supposed to make you think. His lyrics LITERALLY need to be dissected word from word. The reaction videos to his songs should realistically be like 30 minutes long so you can touch on all the points. The man is a damn GENIUS. Do the song Words, Words, Words. And make that video an hour long. 𝙀𝙑𝙀𝙍𝙔 line of that song has a double meaning, some of the best word play I have ever heard in my entire life, there is not even a close second place. That song is a MASTERPIECE
@KurtisB2 жыл бұрын
THANK YOU! Believe it or not I do get comments from people telling me not to pause so much. I tell them that the link to the original video is in the description if they'd rather watch that. 🤣 The problem though with making a video *too* long is that people won't watch it. I try to find a balance between pausing too much and not pausing enough. Attention spans aren't what they used to be. 😕
@joshuamartin92552 жыл бұрын
@@KurtisB It's kind of a "What did you expect? " moment. You're a reactor. Part of that is breaking the song down and trying to find the message (or in this case, clever jokes) and OF COURSE you're going to pause to talk about them. There was another reactor said "you guys probably think I'm just reaching for bars but I'm not" and he was 100% right. Every line of this absolute angel's music is 100% calculated to make you think. Dude knows what he's doing and always has

So… after you watch a few or a lot of his really old stuff, then go back and watch “problematic “ from his inside special again and out will REALLY make sense. Cause some of his content ( arguably hilarious) would be “problematic “ in this new era

Eff (BARS and ranting) , "Rant" (MASSIVE BARS) not Kanye version since you saw it, Words Words Words (BARS), Art Is Dead, We Think We Know You, Left Brain Right Brain, How the World Works (inside special), White Woman's Instagram (Inside Special).... Words Words Words will blow your mind and I suggest you look at genius lyrics after you watch it. There are so many double and triple meaning word plays in that song that you will 100% miss. He also directed and wrote a movie called Eighth Grade you should watch. 99% rotten tomatoes out of 300+ critics and like 83% from audience reviews. He also wrote and put together music for the new Sesame Street Movie coming out in 2022 sometime. Dude is a freaking genius ...... I REALLY suggest watching the Inside special front to back and record reactions, then edit them into separate uploads. It's much more powerful watching it in order since the whole thing was filmed over a year+ period of time .... Inside was nommed for 6 Emmys and won 3..... Would have won 4, but Hamilton redid the musical for a TV special (Netflix) and it beat him out... lame
