Yo Knox, I noticed that you have trouble getting out the rhythmic sound of those faster schemes and triplets. It's a mechanical problem that I have a fix for. For instance at 19:30 you try to mimic that flow by saying "duh duh duh duh" at the fast part. It comes out faster if you say "tuh tuh tuh tuh" instead. It goes even faster if you say "tuh guh tuh guh" or even "tah kah tah kah". Source: trumpet player for 30 years. Just try it, it'll help get those fast staccato rhythms to really pop and will even work with your writing if you keep it in mind.
