The "dog it's a yarmulke, homie, no cap" is actually a double entrendre. "No cap" as in yes, it's not a cap, but also "no cap" as in "I'm not lying" in zoomer slang. I don't know if it's deep lore but there's a whole series of videos with Ben and Brett Cooper where she tries to teach him zoomer slang and "no cap" was one of the main examples. So this "yarmulke" line has several layers to it. It's fun for boomers and zoomers alike, and it's personally my favourite line of his whole verse.

Ben said rap is talking to a beat and that is exactly what it is. He said it doesn't meet the music definition, which has 3 parts, based on what music school defines music as.
