This has become one of my favorite channels, mainly because you’re an interesting person, in the best way possible that is. The breakdowns and different points of view on music is cool to hear, especially when they’re well articulated and thought out. I like to compare and contrast the ideas of them since many reactors aren’t as in depth and thoughtful as you are. I’m looking to start my own reactions to give my own in-depth analysis on music, and maybe one day get more people to listen with me and do comparisons between the two interpretations. Great video(s) bro I really enjoy your ability to think beyond surface level!
@KnoxHill4 жыл бұрын
Thank you, I’m glad you appreciate my thought process and these deep dives. I get a lot of hate and people saying I pause too much, but I don’t care. As long as people like you appreciate it and think a little differently about the music that’s all that matters. Good luck to getting your channel started! The first step is always the hardest

What genre are we in? Falling In Reverse. Ronnie's a musical chameleon, a genius who doesn't get near the respect he deserves. A genre defines what a band is supposed to be, what they are supposed to sound like- FiR defines themselves. They always define where they're going to go next, and it's never what you expect.

I see a lot of comparisons between falling in reverse and linkin park. They both have their own genres, both bands can have various different sounds depending on the song, they both generally talk about inner struggles and the society behind them, the fact that both have varied amounts of rock, rap, metal, techno and hip hop in each song
@sharina-musicfiend4 жыл бұрын
I love, love, love the way you pulled this apart and the amount of detail you picked up on. Must be wonderful for an artist to see someone who notices all the effort and creativity they have put in to the music and the video. Someone may have mentioned this already but I believe that is a high in the video with the female character representing a spoon (silver outfit) and the black liquid is heroin, poisoning him. So you'll notice that as he is drifting up he keeps saying "I'm losing my mind". But like you say we can bring our own experience to interpreting lyrics. I relate to the battle with heroin addiction that Ronnie went through because I've been through it myself. I'm sure there are other ways to see it.

Great reaction! Love it! Amazing job on analyzing the details. I think that's one of the two best reactions I've seen so far. A quick scan of your comments later I think no one has answered your question about the symbolism of the girl/ black stuff, yet? So here it is: the whole triology is about Ronnie's battle with addiction (amongst other things). The girl is wearing silver to symbolize a spoon and the black stuff represents black tar heroin (as far as I know, that's what he's been using, before getting clean in prison). So you were pretty good with your ideas on this! Maybe you could check out one of his solo rap songs after finishing the triology. That album has never been released officially, because he planned from the beginning to give something to his fans for free. The Drug in me is you and the Drug in me is Reimagined by Falling In Reverse is really a must, to see Ronnie development as a singer in the 8(?) years between the two versions of the same song. But for now I subscribed and am looking forward to Losing my Life! Greetings from Germany! Edit: I just realized I already did subscribe. So I'm just going to turn on the notifications 🤷🏽♂️😂

I know nothing about rap and haven't watched any rap analysis before but this is next level. I genuinely didn't know there was such depth and layers and meaning. I wish my English literature teacher would have known this. This is like the poetry we studied in school.

Bro ur breakdowns are so fuckin intelligently insightful n on point its almost scary how fast ur able to pick up on the things u do n how quickly ur able to explain it while maintaining a gigantic vocabulary n articulate way of bein subjective. Mad respect bro keep this up ☝

Glad that the effort is recognised. These reactions definitely fry my brain afterwards 😅 Glad at least I look intelligent in front of a camera. Afterwards I just speak gibberish for a few hours 🤣 Anyways thanks for supporting! Means a lot 🙌

No two falling in reverse songs sound the same. That the style Ronnie has.
