The injustice against Brittney Griner was the severity of her sentence in comparison to her crime. The average sentence for her crime in Russia is ~1-2 weeks in jail...She got years in prison... She was a political prisoner

I feel like as a rapper, avoiding politics kinda holds you back as an artist. Making bold statements is one of your most powerful tools as an artist and just completely avoiding taking a stance because you don’t want to alienate people isn’t like a bad thing in theory, but some of the best songs have deep political statements because taking a stand for something controversial that you believe in is beautiful and inspiring.
@braydenwebb4307 Жыл бұрын

No way it isn’t the most powerful tool and avoiding politics doesn’t hold you back as an artist. Not going into politics makes you great as a rapper

No song that has deep political statements are good or best. Also taking a stand for something controversial is complete utter BS and it isn’t beautiful or inspiring. G t f o with that soft BS
@BOGOworms4sale Жыл бұрын
@@fireztriker3798 I disagree. I feel like especially when it comes to using your platform as a voice, it’s both brave and important to stand behind political issues, because it’s not just like another world we can ignore. It’s something that affects everyone. That’s just my opinion and you’re entirely free to disagree, but yeah lol. I just think it’s such a pervasive topic that spans so much its weird to avoid it as someone who has built a career out of self expression and just like not express a genuinely huge part of who you are

Great reaction my dude!! I agree man, time flies by so freakin' fast. 3 days in my life I'll never forget where I was or how I felt, and how it impacted me...the day my Father died in 99, 9/11, and hearing Kobe and his precious daughter passed away. It's wild cause I was impartial to Kobe fan-wise, but can't put into words how that tragedy affected me. Many nights I cried watching memorials, tributes, and just learning more about him.

Been waiting for this one Crypt.. joyner never misses, loved the last Devils Work (and the whole ADHD album) and this one was a great sequel. Can't wait for the album, it had been a hot minute since some new Joyner. P.S you're the only one I've seen thus far that mentioned Joyner deleting Ye' Not Crazy when reacting to the Donda line and I'm glad you did because I know you loved that track (so did I, that beat was fire). I loved that line because to me it's two fold, both a tribute in a way to Ye' and telling the truth (he truly hasn't been the same since his mum died) and also a subtle acknowledgement as to why Ye' Not Crazy was deleted.

You rapping about gun, prompting gangs on the streets, rapping about b**s prompting prostitution, and when favorite people die or fight you cry saying out loud God why when you never called him out loud to give you a purpose to shape the you and create better lives, but instead you blame the lord without shame and all the young people who are lost feel the same instead of getting them saved. God is a gentleman he doesn't force himself to us but he will help when he sees we want to change and we mean it. So don't stare at the Bible read it and maybe you mind will change how you view the world and let the Lord work though you.
