Chuckie you hit the nail on the head when you said just because you like 'a black person' or your boyfriend is black, does not mean you like black people, black culture, their black family, black women etc. Most black men don't realise that until its too late. From my experience, in these cases they want the black man for how he is portrayed sexually, rather than him as a person and/or mixed kids...that's what we call black fetishism. Of course this is not every case but it happens in a lot that i've come across.

Clearly, both of you have no idea who Noname is. Noname has started a nationwide book club, which only features books from black authors, whilst doing this she partnering with black-owned stores and raising the black dollar. ALSO she is promoting literacy for the black community single handily, whilst doing this, she actually an activist and raises awareness for Black LGBT community frequently. she does all of this with no label backing or million dollar male rap career, she is a single black woman doing more the community and race than all these icons who whole discography is base of black plight/black trauma
@Ahijah4 жыл бұрын
Noname also called Cole and Kendrick Lamar white supremacists 🤦🏾♂️ where was she when Cole went solo to Ferguson when Kendrick performed at the Grammy and highlighted the injustice. These artist's don't use social media but she wants to jump on Twitter telling them what to do, way out of pocket. Doing more really ? You really need to do your research and see what dreamville and tde do for their community's, Cole's former house Forest Hills drive is used to help single mother's and their families, rent free. Cole and Kendrick don't just talk it in their music, they use action. Noname was wrong and got in her feelings.
@Ahijah4 жыл бұрын
@Ewarton Charlton wow if you think she murked Cole 😮🤦🏾♂️🤣🤣she took it too personally, Cole said what he said and even praised her ,she got all bent out of shape she is not the spokesperson for the entire black race,who is she to be telling people how to react and use their platforms. I didn't see her getting at the Megan's,kashdoll, Nicki, Beyonce's of this world. She thought she could get at the two rapper's who don't even post on social media like shit was sweet. Labelling them white supremacists because they don't tweet, what's a tweet going to do, actions are more needed than a simple tweet.
@pa21thebeast4 жыл бұрын
Ewarton Charlton she didn’t merk anyone. Don’t pretend he was taking offense in a vacuum. If he had nothing to do with the original comment she wouldn’t have referenced him in her rebuttal in the same rhetoric she had with the instigating comment that you’re pretending had nothing to do with Cole.
@pa21thebeast4 жыл бұрын
How do you know what these “black icons” aren’t or are doing? Cole has been doing a lot for his community for longer than you’ve known her name, he just doesn’t feel the need to pat his own back like some people. Go talk to the people of Carolina and New York about his philanthropy. There are thousands of black people that have been uplifting black people without even noname’s platform, does that now minimize what she did? You “woke” lot are not only self righteous but you want to dictate the path to righteousness.
@pa21thebeast4 жыл бұрын
Ewarton Charlton those are not his words, you’re either being intellectually dishonest or never actually listened to the song without a bias going into it. “There’s something in the queens tone that’s bothering me” is completely different from “watch your tone”. “I would say it’s more effective to treat people like children” does not become “talk to us like children”. What are you smoking.

Hang on, so Poet's saying people are Ignorant for attaching particular characteristics to a particular type of race.. but then says that if you're black & don't "move black" (I'm paraphrasing) & embrace Babatunde, a man is trying to '"fit in?" He's lost, & showed ignorance in trying to make a point of other people's ignorance fs. Just because a man uses big words & long sentences doesn't mean he's making sense. I feel like 89% of what he says needs to start with "In my opinion"

Guys, the reason why everybody felt she was talking about Kdot and Col specifically, is because she mentioned that "your favourite rappers who have made their entire discography about the black plight". These two are the biggest rappers with that particular subject matter. Plus they are not active on social media, so obviously they wouldn't tweet about it. She just wants people to speak out more, especially those with large platforms. But tradittionally Cole and Kdot speak through their music and their actions, not via social media.

He's from Durham and messaged me fuming and honestly after giving him information and videos (one with Chuckie and Savage Dan, where Chuckie full on gleams at the fact racism might not exist within our lifetime, which for me was a mad mad moment) he admitted the ignorance actually realised he could be racist through the ignorance and the thought he could be a racist without knowing made him feel sick and hes coming down to Liverpool when the coronarvirus ends to meet up to talk

True or correct?...They do matter and it takes a lot to be able to rap about your truth or what you've observed to be able to share with others. Then some want them to be role models when they still have things they are battling with that they don't tell the public yet. And then some want them to speak on social issues when it was never their job in the first place nor have they ever really spoke on them and get ridiculed when they do speak on it because their views aren't necessarily the same as others.

It’s such a backwards way of thinking. They act as if making pro black music is financially rewarding...
