During the chanting part, when the camera is panning the crowd at the Tokyo Dome from above, they are kinda lined up like regiments marching into battle. It increases the military feel a bit, at least for me.

Meta Taro: meta is Metal and Taro is the generic name for a Japanese person. Like Joe or John in the US. So Metal Joe or Iron John would be similar.

There's a baseball line in the song, that talks about stepping up to the plate and swinging away. Be the hero hit the homerun. They're asking you the listener to be unaffraid in life and step up to be the hero. Great song.

Great reaction as always - and you just knew BABYMETAL were going to surprise you again. This was Su-metal's favourite song from the metal Resistance album - she thought the choreo was simple enough that people could join in ... the best the vast majority can manage is the salutes. Grington300 300 : oimatsu0531 has just uploaded GJ compilation mixing 2016 performances (Chicago & Wembley) and 2018 (Dark Side @ Dallas). In yesterday's (as of Dec.14) interview in Japan (Oricon news), Moa answered "I was finally able to face the meaning of dance in the last 3 years. Departure of one member was the trigger. After that, we moved into a period called "Dark Side" but that was really hard (「それがつらくて」). Then I started to think over what I should do by going through that experience. " Just FYI.

You have seen quite a few video's from the Legend 1997 concert, but I don' think you have seen the actual show opener, Avemaria with Night of 15 Mix version of Headbanger. This would be appropriate next week as this was the concert for Su's 16th birthday and this week it's Su's birthday again, 23rd. In this one Su DOES lip sync, but only for effect. Meta Taro is definitely a military march influenced song. "Meta Taro" as a term is sort of like a nickname/title equivalent to something like, say, "Metal Johnny." It's roughly about a hero figure who leads with a heroic demeanor and deeds. I had suggested From Dusk Till Dawn in the comments several times by the way before you finally got around to it. My next pick would be "Brand New Day," as that is probably my favorite off of Metal Galaxy, because it took me by surprise the same way From Dusk Till Dawn did in terms of awesome vocals, arrangements, and top shelf mixing. Anyway, cool reaction as usual. I saw a comment on here with some good suggestions as to further BABYMETAL stuff to react to other than Brand New Day, so I defer (and refer) to that list for your next BABYMETAL Monday.

TARO is like John in English , very common name and There is Tokusatsu drama called Ultraman Taro which is brother of Ultraman. That’s why this song is about hero and Choreo has move that hero is flying.

The big reason not many people suggest From Dusk Till Dawn is that there isn't a video for it, and they only performed it live one time (2017 at The Palladium in Los Angeles). It's not "out there" to be consumed unless you know about it. And the casuals don't know about it.

Su stated that this is her favorite songs from the Metal Resistance album. As for the song stuck in your head. "Oh, My Darling Clementine" The lyrics were written by Percy Montrose in 1884, based on an earlier song called "Down by the River Liv'd a Maiden". The origin of the melody is unknown.

⚡ 💀 💕 / 🤖 🥁 This is Su's favorite song on the 'Metal Resistance' album. She likes the Folk Metal stuff. Besides the Ultraman references, 'META! Meta Taro' is also related to the chants that Japanese baseball fans perform during games. The BABYMETAL members even mime pitching and swinging at a baseball during the song. As well as spelling out "M", "E", "T" & "A" in the choreography.

I saw 'Sis.Anger' live a couple of times with Yui and Moa, and 'GJ!' as a Moa solo (with Minako Maruyama and Minami Tsukui as supporting dancers), but I never saw 'GJ!' performed live with both Yui and Moa. The Oricon interview was really interesting. I was able to understand most of it with the automatic translation in Google Chrome browser.

Another feel good song from Babymetal, catchy tunes, easy sing along, and fun choreo. Really cool ^^ I didn't really think much about META TARO at first, but crowd involvement in this song is incredible. 5:15 is at Legend S show where Babymetal had to perform without Yui and guess who sang Yui's part? The crowd. It's a chilling moment. Even to this day it still get me teary. Yes, we are still waiting for Babymetal's country-metal (maybe with Matthew Runaway) and a full fledged orchestra-metal (I prefer a collab with Night Wish). What can top FROM DUSK TILL DAWN? Well at least for me, it's ↑↓←→BBAB :)

This song is about a famous War Hero from Hiroshima and they wanted to pay respects for him with this Song (especially Su because she was born in Hiroshima) and as a lot of people now have suggested it i will also suggest it now please react to an unhelpful guide to babymetal it is such a good video to get more information about them and to refresh your knowledge about them in general 👌🏼 i also love the Crowd chanting in this Song because this makes me really happy being a metalhead because you can feel the unity among the Fanbase in that moment and that all babymetal are truly the one ☺️
