This was the first knotfest ever. It was a 2 day event saturday and sunday and they closed both shows. I was actually privileged to go to the sunday one (this one to be exact) also got to see killswitch engage, volbeat, tech nine and many others. As far as i know they still do them and if you get a chance then go ahead you wont regret it! 🤘

I got to see Slipknot perform for the first time this past May on the Knotfest Roadshow when they stopped in Toronto. Those boys are still killing it to this day. Corey had a sore throat during the show but he still nailed everything

I went to their Knotfest Roadshow in October where they played with Crown the Empire and Ice Nine Kills. Amazing show! Slipknot is one of the few bands that are better live! Custer is another great song live too btw 😊

Definitely one of my favorites. Ozzy or Sabbath closed At Ozzfest. Im sure Slipknot does too. Thats how most events of any kind work. It keeps the people that just came to see them, at the show. A lot of people would say “I saw who I wanted. Im not worried about these guys Ive never heard of.” More money in concessions and for vendors. The Gray Album had a skeleton on it.

I attended this concert it was in San Bernardino California at the San Manuel Amphitheater I believe it has a different name now. I traveled from Boise Idaho to see this. This show changed my life, definitely a memory i will die with. I had the best time in the mosh pit with people from Cali. You guys need to see them live before they stop performing.

That's the way to kick off a Saturday morning my friends! No matter the events of the rest of the day, thanks to you guys I had a great moment of sanity today and I feel bullet proof! The guy u said looked like a pro wrestler is the awesome guitar player Mick Thomson (#7). His mask makes me think of that demon in the movie "SINISTER" and it possessed THE UNDERTAKER lol. They are just a fun crate full of C-4 that is a mind, ear and ass kicking experience. When ya'll can, look up the band "Breaking the Sunset". They are an unsigned band from Germany with a great sound and after reading their lyrics, good messages and some advice as well lol. Thank you for this great start to the day, you guys are elite on KZbin and I enjoy every second of what yall share. Have a blessed day!

Guys That drummer who is killing on the drums is Jay Weinberg, son of Max Weinberg, drummer for Bruce Springsteen and E Street Band. Jay replaced original drummer, Joey Jordison who left the band for health issues. Sadly, Joey died about same time when Slipknot released this album featuring this song. Another original member, Paul Gray who also died.

Over here in England we have Download festival and Slipknot has headlined a few times. Next year they are the Sunday night headliners. The other 3 nights of next years festival is Metallica the Thursday, Bring Me The Horizon the Friday then Metallica again Saturday night and like I said Slipknot headlining the Sunday night and closing the festival

Imho, I've seen Slipknot 7 times in festivals and regular tours. To be honest, they bring the same set and energy to either one. You don't get a better product going to one more than the other. The only difference is you have more bands and vendors in a festival and extra rides and so forth at Knotfest. That and you pay alot more to go to Knotfest. This one is off of The Gray Chapter after Paul passed. Devil in I is a mid set song, one of Corey's warm up songs. Their opener usually has a lot more energy than this song to set the mood right. You've listened to most of their set list by now so you wouldn't feel out of place. They change it here and there especially for the multi day fests but that's a young man or woman's gig now. Homie can't take off that much time to be responsibility free anymore. Slipknot hasn't opened a concert since 99 Ozzfest where they stole it. They were big boys every since then and headline all their shows. Believe me, you got plenty of time in a 12 hour festival to see all the main stage and second stage acts before the nine come on between 9-10 and give you an hour of their best. Just do it and stop talkin about it boys!

If ya'll dig bands with theatrics, then you MUST dive into GWAR!!! They claim to be aliens from the planet Scumdog and crashed on Earth in Antarctica and became frozen until the hair spray using glam bands of the 80's thawed them out. That is when they decided to conquer the world through heavy metal music!!! Lol...they are actually from Richmond, Virginia and composed of musicians and artists that met while going to college in the mid 80's. I first heard the hilarious song "Slaughterama" in 1989 or 90 and instantly became a HUGE fan, who btw are known as "slaves". My official slave number, according to my fanclub membership card is 469!! Unfortunately the original singer, known as Oderus Urungus (real name Dave Brockie) passed away in 2014. He has been replaced by the original (or one of) bass player. Personally it is not the same, but they still rock on without the great Oderus....I was privileged to have met Dave two or three times before they performed locally. Super nice, down to Earth guy!!! I think ya'll would dig them. They combine horror elements with heavy metal and it is brilliant!!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
