The Heavy Bolter is an absolute monster. Most of the struggle i face in this gameplay is mostly due to the fact that im solo. and the monsters will prioritize the player over the AI teammates most of the time, which the heavy struggles with creating "space" to dish out damage if the enemies are in your face. (except if youre using multi melta) You often times have to rely on physically distancing yourself, or having your teamamtes helping you out to create space to then dish out damage, but since its AI bots, its a bit harder

I always wanted to play solo, bots are better in my opinion how do you play solo? I like outkilling my teammates, you can go full rambo like me and be completely surrounded by swarms and heal per hit very big using the bolter heavy

I've had the same experience. At least the bots stay relatively close to the player though so you can tackle most crowds as a group. My main issue is when playing with randos and we don't stay together, then it becomes a dodge spam race to get to safety so I can unload the Emperor's will....

It apparently the melee attack staggers lesser fodder enemies for a free pistol execution for quick armor regen, but unlike execution, you are vulnerable and you gain net 0 armor recovery XP.

I love overhealing my contested health with the heavy bolter. It just feels like "the longer I stay, do damage and tank shots the more I heal!" And it's just so goofy. Probably a bug but a very funny one.

This was one of the most relatable gameplays I've seen, the way he goes back to get ammo after wasting it on a few tyranids, the way he swaps grenades like from shock to krak right before the helbrute appeared . It was so satisfying to sometimes see the helbrute come when we saved the grenade especially for them. The way he tried to gun execute but got hit, or tried to parry and get hit by a different enemy. I know I'm sure its a common occurrence with others who play well, but ive seen quite bad gameplays and its a relief to see someone try and sometimes gets wins or gets hit instead

Does the offensive capability perk not work? It’s the first signature ability you unlock. I’ve noticed in game it seems to not do any aoe damage and it looks like it didn’t in this gameplay.

You can't. No progress from offline mode carries over to live. Simply can't be done. Just make a private lobby online.

You have to get Armoury Data from Substantial Difficulty Operations. Minimal and Average difficulty Operations drop green Armoury Data. Substantial difficulty operations drop purple armoury data. Ruthless difficulty drops gold armoury data.

Honestly heavy and tactical players need to learn to stop shooting all the executeable targets and wiping runs. It literally means melee classes can't heal or stay alive.. I've just had a run where this happened 7 times! 4 of them on banners which denied me my hp and got me killed or forced me to hide and do nothing. It's becoming a joke the number of runs I've had wiped like this, some with literally seconds to go! Why you'd gun down an executeable target to no benefit when a bulwark has just put the banner down, or a vanguard is on white hp is really f'ing stupid!

I agree. Even if no one on the team needs an execution all teammates should allow all executions as much as possible. I've had the same issue where I'm running Bulwark and I need an execution badly, drop my banner to hopefully execute and get full health back, only to have a teammate shoot and kill the enemy 🤦🏻‍♂️

last week my heavy felt like a better melee than bulwark and assault lol, i was carrying the team with plasma pistol and lmg. but i think they did a patch , cuz my heavy isnt a parry melee god anymore and the weapons feel "weaker", cant stun majors with gold plasma pistol anymore , takes like 6 charge shots. am i crazy ? stealth nerf ? or bots got stealth buff ?

heavy bolter feels like pebbles and doesnt seem to pierce targets on substantial and ruthless, heavy plasma is awful dmg wise and having to charge snipe and then realize u have to do it 3 more times , is impossible - pace breaking - unreasonable. everything not melta needs a buff. even melta seems to not deal damage at times like the hit doesnt register. i might be just a me thing with the servers not getting my data packets ??? but plasma is severly underpowered in ruthless and substantial. it should 1 or 2 hit like it does in average mode.

Got all three heavy weapons maxed and I have to say they all carry their weight really well. Hell the plasma can even over heal better than the melta more often then not just have to learn the weapons to make em work

The high tier weapon will lower the FOV while in heavy stance. and it makes the heavy class unplayable

Lol, all you guys are showing how easy it is to solo operations, but always use the max gear. I'd like to see you with one level worse weapon and what you gonna say then.
