@@NSQGarage I've looked high and low for rear axle, but no luck there. As for besides I haven't got any either. Still working on the rear swap since I have to actually cut and move hangers to use raptor leafs.

@@evenflo75 oh interesting. I'm about to order the fiberglass. Shipping is going to kill me. I will run wheel spacers temporarily until I can find a rear axle for a reasonable price

Looking at doing an F150 to raptor conversion, just the suspension. Did you have to relocate your leaf spring hangers to be able to bolt in the raptor leaf springs?
@NSQGarage5 ай бұрын
Nope they fit right in. If I remember right, the shackles were the exact same too.
@ELMRB2 жыл бұрын
I wonder if this will work the same on my 2011 f150 4x but for front fox coilover from a Raptor ...direct bolt on?
@NSQGarage2 жыл бұрын
You mean on the front suspension? I don't think it really works. You need the raptor control arms
@Earwaxfacts2 жыл бұрын
You didnt like the Icons? Is the raptor set up better?
@NSQGarage2 жыл бұрын
icons were great and were a great all-around system. i was just lookin for more travel. the icons are still available if you are interested lol
@zekebranstad88822 жыл бұрын
Does this also widen the track width? Or is your front track width more than the back?
@NSQGarage2 жыл бұрын
the front end is widened with longer control arms. i eventually opted to put on wheel spacers to give me more track width as a temporary solution until I can purchase a raptor axle. however, many guys seem to run wheel spacers with no problems.

Would these shocks work with stock 2.5inch blocks
@NSQGarage Жыл бұрын
If you are just driving around town, I would think so you would be alright. You might have issues off roading because they are so much longer and will fully compress earlier than the gen 1 shocks.

Do you think those gen 2 shocks would fit on my 2012 f150?
@NSQGarage2 жыл бұрын
They should bolt right up. But I would make sure you add height with springs or blocks to make sure you arent bottoming out the shock

How do you deal with the Leaf spring rubbing the shock?
@NSQGarage2 жыл бұрын
It's definitely tight. But no rubbing yet. Admittedly I have not tested it much as it's been on jack stands. And if it does rub, it's just the plastic guard
@Ballen94942 жыл бұрын
@@NSQGarage Any downside to not changing leaf springs other than loss of travel? What about the shock mounts? Heard of some people having to relocate them and reinforce them as well.
@NSQGarage2 жыл бұрын
@@Ballen9494 the ride would be a little stiffer. It would honestly probably be better on the highway. It's pretty soft with the raptor springs.
@NSQGarage2 жыл бұрын
@@Ballen9494 as far as the shock mounts, people relocate them to put in longer shocks for more travel.
@RobbieWilson-lc5fl10 ай бұрын
The brackets khc makes for the gen 2 conversion in the rear allow you to use full cycle of your shocks. You don’t utilize wheel travel with stock location.
