I went with the $5200 less plain stealth. all the same blacked out stuff outside and the same gadget features inside except for I have smaller screen (that doesn't stick above dash) and only 12 speakers.

Not a bad refresh for an aging vehicle. I'm going to be VERY interested to see how the next Expedition stacks up agains the Tahoe and Suburban since Ford has moved the needle in terms of hybrid/EV powertrains much farther than GM. An Expedition Powerboost Hybrid sounds exactly like what Ms JAX has been waiting for. Great video! That monster screen is definitely growing on me.

This version of the EcoBoost engines makes crazy power and you're right, a hybrid would probably be a sweet spot, providing enough power AND fuel economy that people want/need, including Ms. JAX. 😅 And yes, it's crazy how those big screens become more "normal" every day. The only thing I'd change about this beauty would be to choose the Max version and get that extra foot or so behind the 3rd row. I expect the next iteration will have some sort of supercharged-turbocharged 4 hybrid with a big battery and electric motors. Doesn't matter what you do to a 4 though, you can't make it smooth like an inline, flat or v 6.

You had my full attention till you said it was a V6 sorry but the 8s run smoother In my opinion I have had fords and lincoln for 30 years but lost my support after not offering an 8 cylinder engine and that huge screen looks like they almost forgot to put it in for 83 grand you should hear nothing outside

It's funny, John M. Even though Ford's been using this EcoBoost V6 for quite a few years, we've been conditioned to expect a V8 in a large vehicle like this Expedition. That being said, we couldn't deny the power that it makes. And big truck engines typically make big truck sounds, which is why the tuning of the exhaust on this truck was welcome. They didn't sound as good with Ford's first try back in 2018(?). I still prefer a V8, but I'm keeping an eye on these EcoBoost engines. Thanks for sharing and for watching!

It is a good looking vehicle. Unfortunately in this segment, if I had the money it be a GM. They have V8s and that’s where it’s at. They have nicer interiors and better tech and suspension. Just no comparison and market agrees. Great video as always. 5at LCD screen is really not well integrated and looks like after thought.

Definitely not worth $100,000. Vehicles are getting stupid expensive. Keep your vehicles as long as possible stop buying needless products they want to hurt us but we can hurt them more with less profits. Show them who are really in control!

Did you include mileage and maintenance costs in your claim of $45,000 depreciation after 1 year of ownership for the exact same vehicle in 2022?

Been a Ford customer for about 4 decades, but I'm sad to admit that this brand is now 100% garbage with zero value to offer. Every competitor of Ford has out done it by a huge margin. I'm afraid Ford won't be able to ever catch up to the competitors ever again.
