Good morning I thoroughly enjoyed your show. Bald eagles are my passion. I look forward to your next show. Thanks for mentioning Mr President and First Lady. I watched that cam for years. I also lived near the Arboretum for 10 years so I enjoyed walking the beautiful grounds looking for eagles. SWFL rebuilt their nest in 3 weeks after the 2021 hurricane. I actually was at that nest 1 week prior, so it was emotional. I followed NEFL for years with Romeo and Juliet. NEFL had so many highs and lows and crazy moments this year. Beau is so dedicated and protective of the nest. Next season he will be more mature. I do enjoy the California nests, as well as a late season Alaska nest. Visiting the new AEF is on my list for this year.

Yes! Agree with you guys about Big Bear's nest hatching problems. Fertility was the first thing that came to mind however my opinion on the chat was not welcomed. I trust a doctor and an eagle expert before anyone else. Thanks for your info enjoy your discussions!

There was a rat snake at KNF, but I don't think it was yellow. I can't recall.

Very interesting discussion 💯 I would love to hear your take on what has been happening at the Dulles Greenway nest this year. As a quick summary the male of the original pair disappeared and was replaced by a new male. The original female laid 3 eggs but the new male wasn’t helping with incubation and the female eventually gave up. Since then there has been a constant rotation of pairs and some young visitors. I am curious about how whether this has been observed elsewhere and can you comment on norms for empty nests and nest hunting?

What do you think about stating on the Folsom, CA site that "getting too close" to the nest (may require definition) to the nest or causing stress (crowds, camera flash, shining a flashlight, etc) to the nest while there are eggs/hatchlings could cause one or both parents to abandon the nest, leaving the eggs or chicks?
