The star of Bethlehem was not a star, planet, comet, or some conjunction of celestial bodies (especially Jupiter & Saturn). Rather, it had to be a manifestation of God's shekinah glory. Here's the proof: First, you should note that scripture does NOT say the Magi followed anything to Bethlehem. They already knew Messiah would be born in the area Jerusalem . . . . they just didn’t know which little suburban area that might be. That’s why they went to Herod. Note that the “star” or “astera” ” (illumination/planet/star/comet) they originally witnessed was east of them. And then they traveled west. And after speaking with Herod, they stepped outside where this “illumination” re-appeared. (They rejoice when the saw the "star" AGAIN Matt 2:10). . . suggesting this illumination was not a part of the couple month journey to Jerusalem. Then we learn that this “illumination” guided them from Herod’s location to the location of the holy child and it STOOD over Jesus’ location. (I’d like to see any celestial body STAND over a specific location on earth for any length of time, much less illuminate that location.) People do not realize, Herod’s location was due north of Bethlehem; meaning this illumination traveled from north to south when it guided the Magi to the young toddler (check the Greek . . . a child under instruction . . . . not an new-born). Celestial bodies do not travel from north to south, especially Jupiter/Saturn. ALL celestial bodies travel east to west. And they certainly don’t hang around (stand) to pin-pointing a "spec" on the map. (Try it sometime.) In other words, stars/planets cannot PARK (stand) over a set location (in this case, the house where the Christ toddler was located). And we need to realize that if by some miracle there was a visible celestial alignment that somehow pin-pointed Jesus location, don't ya think Herod would have seen it and taken out the Christ child even before the Magi reach Jesus’ location? Finally, the "illumination" that the Magi witnessed from the first time they saw it, to when they laid eyes on Jesus was probably 1 to 2 years. No planetary conjunction (in this case Jupiter & Saturn) hardly last that long; in fact, this one lasts only a day or two, and won't conjoin again for about 20 years. What the Magi saw witnessed an illumination . . . . I identify it as the shekinah glory of our creator; similar to what John the Baptist saw at Jesus’ baptism . . . . “the spirit of God descending upon Jesus AS a dove.” Bye-the-bye: Jesus was not born on the birth date for Christ-Mithras (where we get the word "Christmas"). Jesus was born on the first day of the festival of Trumpets; circumcised on the 8th day. . . fulling God's appointed feasts. We know the date John the Baptist (JTB) was born, assuming his mother conceived on or about the time his father had his encounter with the angel Gabriel . . . . during the priestly order of Abijah (Luke 1:5 Zechariah, who belonged to the priestly division of Abijah). That puts John the Baptists birth around Passover. The Jews were always waiting for Elijah to show up at Passover; and he did with his anointing and ministry upon JTB (Luke 1:17 And he will go on before the Lord, in the spirit and power of Elijah . . . ). The Jews always put a cup out for Elijah at Passover. Jesus was born 6 months after JTB. Six months after Passover is Tabernacles . . . . not Dec 25th.

AT THE RAPTURE; the instant removal of the bride to meet our Lord and groom. First church believers who died and those alive following them (1 Thess. 4:13-18). The Lord calls us from the heavens above Earth. I believe the Holy Spirit in us HEARS and actually removes us up to His side! Our sin nature, Romans 3:23, is supernaturally removed (Holy Spirit work) and our sanctification (being made holy) is completed as is our salvation so we can be taken UP to Heaven. Timing? We are NOT appointed to God's wrath! Never! 1 Thess. 1:10; 5:9; Romans 5:8-9. The bride of Christ will not go through one single day of "Tribulation" when God judges the lost world left behind after the Bride of Christ is called up to His side above Earth. At the RAPTURE we will receive an imperishable and sinless body like that of Jesus Christ. 1 Cor.15:51-57. See also John 14:3; Titus 2:11-14; Revelation 3:10 It is "IMMINENT"! "Maranatha" ("He comes") was the greeting to one another in the just formed church. They looked for Jesus in their time! WE DO TOO! This channel is a blessing known to God before the world was made. Ephesians 1:1-14 2 Samuel chapter 22:verse 50 "Therefore I will praise you, O Lord, out of the countries, and I will praise your name." THE GOSPEL PREVAILS Mark 16: verse 15: And He said unto them, Go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. How can anyone hear the "good" news? Romans 10:17. Then faith comes from hearing and hearing by the word of God. The Birth Of Jesus Christ Isaiah 7:14: "Therefore the LORD shall give you a sign; behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and call His name Immanuel." Hebrew: עִמָּנוּאֵל, "God with us" in human flesh but without sin. The Savior of the world was born to die for our sins! He did so 33 years later. His terrible ordeal, the body was mutilated, the blood was poured out, but the bones were not broken, buried in a Tomb and risen on the 3rd day. Isaiah 53:"5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all." John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23 "I am the way, the truth and the life: no one comes to the Father except through me." John 14.6 "1 Corinthians 15: 1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: "In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;." Ephesians 1:7 Matthew 26:28 "For this is my blood of the New Testament, which is shed for many for the redemption of sins." Ephesians 2:8: "Because you have been saved through faith, and this is not from you. This is the gift of God. Jesus died to pay the penalty for our sins and rescue us from eternal death. Because of Jesus' death on our behalf, all we have to do is believe in Him, trusting in His death and in the shedding of His blood as payment for our sins, as well as in His burial and resurrection from the dead the third day, and we will be saved! John 20: 24-31; See also 1 Corinthians 15: 1-4 above. Romans 10: 9 If you confess the Lord Jesus with your mouth and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart man believes in righteousness; And a confession by mouth is given to salvation. 13 For the one who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Salvation and forgiveness of sins is the blessing of anyone who believes in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We receive from God (not man) the baptism of God the Holy Spirit immediately which seals us in Christ and that is permanent! Ephesians 1:13-14. Those who reject the free gift of salvation, see John 3:16 above, "perish", which means their sins are judged by God the Son and they suffer eternal separation from God and the family of God forever called the "second death". Revelation 21:8 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. ”Romans 5:1
