Am I the only one who feels that Mulan looked way too happy while singing "Reflection"? Not only that, but I did not like that they gave Rapunzel additional lyrics. It just doesn't flow with the song properly.

Like Pocahontas was trying but she was supposed to be in love with the river, Milan was supposed to upset knowing she'll never be accepted by her family, and the couple were singing for themselves instead of for each other like ITS A LOVE SONG! I'm sure they picked that Flynn because he has an incredible voice, how could they turn that voice down? The singers for Pocahontas and Mulan were spot on too, even though they didn't look much like the characters. But Rapunzel was my least favorite because she didn't look like her or sound like her. She way overdid the singing and looks way too old for the part. And the couple didn't do the original justice, they are supposed to look incredibly in love, that's what makes the song.

People talking a lot of smack about Rapunzel.. I've heard her sing live twice and it was amazing live. This is also coming from a huge Mandy Moore fan. Realize that Mandy has a very unique and almost non matchable soft voice. Her falsetto is one of the best I've ever heard. Yes I know this Rapunzel sings it more a theater style, but it's also an outside theater lol. It still works. Go see it live. Its magical. She does perfectly fine. Its probably hard to find a girl who has all the features. Be more immersive and it's very easy to ixnay the little flaws lol.

This instantly takes me back to the Alan Menken "I Want" Song Medley from Disney's "Animazement" (which consisted of "Just Around The Riverbend/Go The Distance/Out There"). The actor and actresses in this are fantastic (almost Broadway caliber), and the songs meld together really well here. Fantastic job!

Are people seriously complaining that they don't look like the characters!? Yeah, gosh, it's so annoying how there isn't a constant supply of actors who can sing really well and look EXACTLY like all the Disney characters. And it's really annoying how they age and have to find new human people to play these characters. If they couldn't sing but looked right, you'd complain about the singing. the chances of finding the whole package are incredibly slim and if they are, they usually move on to bigger and better things pretty quickly. I think they do a pretty insanely good job considering how many people they have to cast.

For those serious about making it in movies, television or music, there really is only two places to go; New York or Los Angeles. It's no wonder that the level of talent and professionalism you'll find at Disneyland is at such a high caliber. There's no shortage of quality and The Disneyland Resort has a vast pool of talent to choose from. All the budding young actors and singers will audition up the road in Hollywood, but they keep their day jobs with Disney.

I went to a concert where a soprano was the opening act. I love opera but the singer we saw was too loud and shrill. I think the lady playing Rapunzel here has the same problem. And it's such a lovely song when sung properly.

Well, I understand Pocahontas. But Mulan looks pretty spot on. And if Rapunzel didn't squint she'd be perfect too. As far as Flynn goes, well he's best friends with a friend of mine. And whereas he's not the perfect Flynn (only Zachary Levi really is) he is a really attractive guy and can pull off Flynn pretty well.
