II think way back then they were just using the term "Mini-car" as a generic term for small cars.

Ahhh… I see, I was confused as to why one minute they were giving away a mini and the next minute it was a Hillman Imp.

The term "mini car" was generically used to describe small cars like the Imp, and the original BMC Mini of which the term derives from. William Franklyn was the narrator on that first advert.

The only decent one here is the Georgie Best 'Fore' commercial. Those Santa ones are truly abortive. I was suggest 'rare and forgettable'.
