I saw rare beauty in Sephora Hong Kong last week and actually legitimately gasped in the middle of the aisle😂 I got the nearly neutral melting cream blush - loved it - and wanted to get the liquid eyeshadow too, but when I went back two days later it was already sold out😂 (I’ve been using the blush on my eyes for a very subtle colour block look, but after watching this review I’m definitely trying the liquid shadow once it comes back in stock

The aesthetic design of RB products was certainly what piqued my interest at first but the quality is rather impressive as well. I’ve just tried a few of their products though. Got a few shades of their matte lipsticks which are not the best but I’m quite fond of. Some shades do grip on but some are a bit..flaky. Sometimes I used them as blushes and it worked alright. Love the eggshell soft blush, got the nearly peachy one and I want to try nearly neutral soon. The soft gloss looks really interesting but I can’t get my hand on those just yet so no comment there. On a different note, love their designed bottle for foundation and concealer, but I’m not a fan of their concealer, maybe I got a wrong shade but I don’t think it blends very well, it kinda just sits on the skin and does not last very long. Still want to try their foundation coz I heard it’s quite natural and not heavy so we’ll see. Overall I like the brand, it’s a fresh breath of air!

I love the liquid eyeshadow in rose, exactly what I was looking for in a liquid form. Muted and soft but with enough pigment to show up on my skintone. Also the liquid blush in Joy is so pretty! The melting blushes seemed to sheer for me, so I skiped them

I have tried these formulas. I have a couple of the original liquid blushes which are amazing, And you can mix them together to make different colors. I wear different colors in the summer and winter as my skin which is light to med olive tams so easily. I really also like the round blush pot in mauve, and the lipstick amd lipgloss, in mauve and berry. I wish I could have every one if each color but I know I wont use them all so I’m holding back. This was an amazing review!

In my opinion the melting blush, as cute as the packaging may be, was quite confusing. When you’re swirling your finger around it feels very creamy and yet on my dry skin it felt very dry and it was hard to blend out (a little patchy too but my dryness was probably the main culprit), it’s very pigmented so I wouldn’t necessarily describe it as fool proof but it’s not too scary. It clung to my dry skin in some parts as well. Not necessarily something I’d repurchase but the berry shade is something I really want but I couldn’t find any other blush with a shade like it 🥲

I certainly did, the launch had quite a poor response! 😬 Unfortunately I'm not planning to try it - I feel really uncomfortable about the shade range, particularly after years of development and anticipation, as well as their diversity issues last year.
