Have I possibly made the biggest mistake on this channel ? Maybe?
Did I really did buy a POS? Probably
Am I already regretting this purchase? Definitely.
Aside from every panel having paint damage, the roof being green and the wheels being completely wrong for the car the Tourneau cover mysteriously going missing between me agreeing to buy it and me picking it up.
And i'll ignore that the 85hp engine seems to have sent most of its horses to the glue factor
And we'll not mention that the "new" roof is literally pulling apart at the seems and with the windows seems to get its sense of urgency from a snail.
The one really important thing it would have been nice to know before picking up the car, is that it's been on fire !!!!

Unfortunately since fiat took down the website there is now no official way to update blue and me. You could look for the “fiat forum” and they have some files there you could try but if your car has ever been updated at any time in its life then it is probably already up to date, there have been very few updates since your car was made

Don't bother with the boot gas struts - new ones don't last long enough to make it worthwhile buying them.

That’s worth knowing especially at the price they charge for replacements, I wonder if I could fit a spring somewhere to give the extra oooph to hold the boot up

@@PuntoHowto I lift the boot up then place a piece of hose pipe or similar, about 2 inches long split down the middle lengthwise around the strut middle.
