I used to live right down the road from the tracks in Newcastle, Wyoming. We had dozens of BNSF coal trains come through town every day and saw some interesting freight trains too. Some video but mostly pics on my camera. A few times the wind got high enough to derail unloaded coal cars!

No wonder why Amtrak trains are usually late by freight trains. That first one was 18 minutes int the video. Holy cow!

And NS Has the worst On-time performance record with them, and it's also against the law for the freight trains to go before the passenger trains.

I too live in Norristown, but I live outside of town because my mom doesn’t like living in town due to sketchy things that happen there, so I live outside of town but I occasionally pass through there to get to the Farm park Trout Nursery.
