Great car ! Great sounds ! A great video that brought back memories of another '68 Dodge with a day 2 383 that one of my high school friends proudly owned....the Super Bee ! 1968 was a good year for American muscle ! Thanks for doing a feature on this fantastic Dart, Campy !

Let's Rock! I have driven the Fish the last two month's very often, 4 tanks worth, 6 awards, lots of smiles and one lost iWatch! Apparently the magnetic band is only rated for 75MPH! Gotta look cool with you arm out the drivers side! I Love this Dart Matt, Bet it is Fun to Drive! The fish has a 3800 Stall and 3.55 gears, still makes you smile!😎

This is my absolute favorite Dart body! I refer to these as smaller Road Runners. I've only seen a couple with the big block and I believe one was the 440. I like the idea of it being a 4 speed car. I'd be happy with a 340 under hood. 😉

@grantr5417Ай бұрын
Actually, Mr. Norm wasn't the first to install a 383 in a 67 Chrysler a-body. Plymouth offered the Barracuda from pretty much the get go of the model year. Dodge was not planning on this, but Norm was a Dodge dealer, and wanted Dodge to do it as well. These big block cars, including the 68 Hemi and 69 440 versions were not intended to be mass sellers, but allowed drag racers to use these blocks in the stock classes, which were very popular selling tools for the manufacturers.

@@musclecarcampy9922 Six packs are/were grossly overrated. So were the wing cars. If you look across the entire lineup, Plymouth, Dodge, Chrysler and Imperial, '68 was superior.
