England and Australian cricket teams walk onto the Lord's Cricket Ground and play the field. Wonderful shots of women wearing hats and eating snacks. Lots of young boys looking at the camera.

Over the course of a century, it documented everything from major armed conflicts and seismic political crises to the curious hobbies and eccentric lives of ordinary people. If it happened, British Pathé filmed it.

The first, left-handed batsman in a mustache is the Australian cricket captain, Joe Darling. The second batsman is Monty Noble. The batsman is Victor Trumper. The last, left-handed batsman is Clem Hill.

This whole footage is a collection of video shoots done during the 1905 Aus's Ashes tour and not necessarily from a single test match. Aus lost 0-2 to a very strong Eng side. Some of the shoots were only done for motion picture entertainment as was common then. No live cameras then.
