Oh wow! 9 days! Thats going to be like 9ndsys before Xmas when you are a kid... time will tick slooooowly. Be prepared! Get ypur kennel, fence separater, treats (cherrios!) Toys, blankets... I will post next a blanket that both dogs love. Its funny, you buy these littlw beds and blankets, and they choose to sleep directly on the floor! However we got a bed that Ollie loves. Jasper loves it too, but peed on it.😠 I will share it on next vid.

Lol, yes got a grey afterall. But, not the original grey, this is a new 2nd one! Breeder hasn't had greys like this in 40 yrs and all of a suddem 2 back to back different litters! I really lile the white stripe and tan on Jasper's face.

Jasper is an awesome name too, I have a ball python whose name is Jasper too. :)

Welcome Jasper! He's so handsome! Ollie will have fun with him when she gets use to him! (For Jaspers fast eating you can get a slow bowl feeder or I have found if you put a bean can in the middle of the bowl that works good too.) Congrats congrats congrats!

Great video, I will be making a 10 hr drive and was wondering if you would share how jasper did on the trip potty breaks , food etc. I may stop after 5 hours due to departure time from the breeders kennel. Any tips will be greatly appreciated Cheers Gene

I hd a small low fence, stopped where I could and let them him out for a potty break. Maybe 2 or 3 tops for 10 hours.

You hit the gold mine with him! Get ready for compliments all the time , Im constantly getting them. Hes known as a blue merle the tan is the giveaway. They come in sable and blue merle also tricolor and there are some that are exclusively silver and white or black and white. As you stated bi blu and bi black. Mine are best friends a year apart and not one fight only playful fights in 2 years of living together. I slap my hands together and like clockwork they playfights. Its amazing how close theyve become. Enjoy! Glad to see Ollie get a companion. Spoil them.

Thanks! Yes, they are getting better already... Jasper pounces, and Ollie gets him to chase her. Ollie would grunt/growl when chasing my daughter out of frustration when she couldnt catch her (around kitchen island and Ollie had no traction on the tile, but bare feet do!) Now Jasper makes the same noise when he can't catch Ollie around the kitchen table because Ollie is older and faster. Hilarious!

A sable merle is the muted Merle on the sable pattern

We lost our Sheltie, Elsie on the last day of May. She was 17 years and 2 months. We adopted her on Chistmas Eve 2012 from a local shelter when she was 6 years, 9 months, & 12 days old. She was rescued from a puppy mill along with two other Shelties. So, we had her 10 years and 5 months. We still have our other dog. He's not a Sheltie though. He just turned 10 on October 6th this year. The wife was thinking she'd want a Sheltie puppy next time if we get one. I got my first Sheltie in 2000 when he turned 15. I had him for only a 1 year and a half.

My dad told me to watch this video because he thought that this may be the same breeder I went to a few years ago myself. (The backyard looks super familiar to me.) I was looking for an older dog and ended up getting a Blue merle that was 11 months old. The breeder wanted to have her as a showdog, but because of medical issues she decided to adopt her out as a house pet instead.

What was with the pups why do they use glue, there are other ways to prevent the ears pricking up, that don’t involve the use of glue, I have shelties, and am in the Uk, have never needed to glue my shelties or Rough Collies ears!
