@@kazuha1305 absolutely not. So easy to train. Very personable. I've had 3 and about to get a new puppy and even if you don't put much time into training they learn quickly.

@@DR-qf9th Question :) Did you get your sheltie from a breeder and are they usually expensive? I've heard that when buying them as a puppy from breeders they are more on the expensive side

The one I just bought was 1000.00 which is a fair price for a sheltie with papers. I paid 400.00 7 years ago for one where the dad had papers but not the mom. That one wasn't from a breeder. She owned mom and dad and that litter I think was an oops. But you can tell the pups were full blooded shetland sheepdogs. I looked into a puppy earlier this year and they were asking 2000.00. That puppy came from a pet shop and the owners were unable to keep it. 2000.00 to me was extremely high. Also if it had come from a pet shop it was more than likely from a puppy mill.

Out of curiousity why are you bathing it? The aftermath reminded me of one funny quirk, if my parents' last shetland got wet he would put the side of his face to a coarse mat on the floor and run up and down the mat, akin to 9.05. I don't remember if the preceeding two or three did this (long time ago).

That was bad in my opinion that you took the treat out of your black dogs mouth. You should give that dog a win and let him have it, for being a good boy and having patience with the little 'annoying sister' it's hard on older dogs to have a new puppy in the house and he seems so well Behaved. He wasn't aggressive when he took it from her, he was simply being a big brother... you should have let him have it.
