Grover was so under rated IMHO, he was one of the Greatest Saxophonist of all time.He played Tenor, Alto, soprano , Baritone & Flute also .

Bonsoir, Well... I am not used with... « Pure Jazz »... but coming from Mr. Groover Washington Jr.... I would say that : « Nothing less than an accurate sound and perfect control of his saxophone »... idem... for all the other musicians... especially for the pianist...
