I recognize a couple that lived in South Hampstead, this certainly isn't in Stamford Hill. Considering the seating arrangements, I'd reackon this is a reform synagogue.

Thanks for preserving history, but why did you splice footage of Reform Jews, into a doc. that talks about the Orthodox community?

The music was absolutely gorgeous. Do you have a list of the songs that were used? Although this is a synagogue, the teachings and the choir music remind me a lot of the church I grew up in. Perhaps the composed, respectful and ethereal austerity of the service at the synagogue, complete with choir, is a uniquely English thing. It's so wonderful to see and hear the people talk so reverently about God and the Bible, especially Rabbi Hugo Gryn. I love documentaries, and this is a wonderful channel. Thank you.

The Jewish religion is very beautiful, especially the music. I am not Jewish but found out a year ago my grandma on my moms side was born and raised Jewish. She converted to Catholicism when she married my grandfather. I feel like I missed out on learning more about the Jewish faith. I wish I had been raised knowing this.

Actually you are Jewish. Judaism goes by the mother and so, given what you have said, you are Jewish and it is irrelevant that your grandmother converted to Catholicism. Go and speak to a rabbi who will explain this to you.
