It's the only film of recent times that promotes family values and to what extent a son can go to protect his family. Amitabh is shown shooting for 'Satte Pe Satta' and 'Bemisaal' in Kashmir. Both of them released in 1982. It seems that this interview, which is by Shrinagar Television, was taken in 1981 in Kashmir. 'Laawaris' also was shot extensively in Kashmir, but that released in '81 itself. Amitabh comes across as very intelligent, humble and knowledgeable person. He exhibits his in-depth knowledge of cinema as medium. It is a sheer joy to watch Amitabh Bachchan. He has not changed with time, and remains an actor par excellence and a gem of a person. Wish him the best on his 77th birthday, that just went by.

i think its 1979 he was congratulating for the success of muqaddar ka sikander which celebrated golden jubilee around the time he celebrated his birthday which is in oct and in those days movies used to be made for atleast 2 to 3 years, satte pe satta was also launched in 78 or 79

An exemplary human being, a fighter to the core, Amitabh ji is an icon for ever. Many may not know that in the late 90s he was in so much financial difficulties that his bungalow 'Prateeksha' was almost in the auction block. From there, at an age of 57 yrs, when most of us consider retirement, he began his fight back and in the last 23 yrs has regained all his wealth and more. And this was only possible due to his work ethics, something which the present generation should learn from.
