I’m currently 36 weeks + 4 days pregnant and am having my little one today via c section. She was diagnosed with IUGR and will be coming early because of this. This video makes me so hopeful for her recovery after birth.

Over 20 yrs ago my son was born he weighted 3 pound and he was diagnosed with IUGR at birth but now he is a bit overweight and way taller than me.

If baby does not transfer breast milk well, such as not sustaining latch or not having enough wet diapers, and is not strong enough to breastfeed please start pumping soon to help establish breast milk supply so baby doesn’t have to work so hard to obtain food, and seek lactation help, if Breastfeeding. Good luck!

The dad is answering all the questions.. i have 4 kids .. my fifth is on the way.. my husband doesn't know their birthdays nor what grade they're in.. lucky moma and baby ... Take care everything will be fine with God help! ❤

Good to see a doctor that care. My baby was 6 pounds 13 ounces born 2 days before 2 days before 38 weeks but he lost 18oz in the hospital 2 days and he didn’t drink colostrum until 7 hours after birth. We took him home 5 pounds 8 ounces but nobody told me anything further that could happen based on his growth issues and weight loss. I had so many severe GI and feeding issues with him till he was about 14mos old. And he stayed in the low 2-6 percentile his entire life. But no doctor we saw found that to be an issue. until now at 22 mos old. I hope and pray my son doesn’t have issues in life due to them delaying his diagnosis of failure to thrive.
