Bro Van Impe has always been a blessing to me and my family. We still have our Van Impe King James Bible from 40 years ago. He and Rexella came to our church in Montgomery, AL, for a week Revival and taught us how to memorize the King James Bible. Once you learn and memorize the Bible, God plants it in your mind and heart and can witness to anybody who needs the Lord. He will truly be missed, but I know we will see him again before the feet of Jesus.

Amen. I saw him preached in Pines Baptist Church in the Philippines early 70 's and in the university of Baguio and that was the time I accepted the Lord Jesus as my Lord and Savior . I was in ist year college that time he came to evangelize us in my country. After so many decades it was a blessing to hear him again still preaching the word of God. Godbless you Dr Jack Van Impe. Oh this man got me hooked on bible prophecy back in 1991 by watching jvi presents. I love him so much. I thought he would see the rapture. After 30 years of learning prophecy, I believe Jesus returns to earth at least by 2032 making the rapture to happen at the latest 2028. That would be a midtrib rapture. Things have exploded propheticly since 2013-14 with the false prophet Francis appearing and the blood moons. We are really going home. Maranatha.

I watched JVI at a very young age, his t.v. show used to scare the heck out of me, he was always talking about the end of the world! It was fear / suspence that pricked my young heart, and we all know how that the feeling of danger and excitement entices a child, so I would wait expectantly for 11:00pm to roll around to hear this man and his wife talk about prophetic things that were taking place as they spoke. My spirit still to this day is flooded with redemptive hope when I hear him talk. WOW. I am quite surprised to see Dr. Van Impe preaching at a Pentecostal megachurch. For many years Van Impe would not associate with any other denomination that was not considered fundamental Baptist. Despite of his excellent exposition, I also was surprised at his "joking" statement that the Presbyterians are the "dead in Christ" that will be raised first during the rapture... I thought that to be quite odd. Well, I much loved his ministry and his kindness towards me when at a crusade in Wichita KS he took me backstage to teach me how to properly play the left hand chromatic scale on the accordion. He was a terrific accordeonist indeed. May God have him in His Glory.
