pittsburgh.cbsl... Hidden away in the hills of rural Butler Pennsylvania, Iron Mountain houses some of America's most amazing, priceless treasures. KDKA's John Shumway got a rare look inside this incredible archive.

The new LTO7 data tapes hold 6 terabytes and a customer at work order 1,000 not too long ago. They'll be needing more soon. Believe me, there's a TON of data these companies save

this 'secret' 'hidden' facility is located at 1137 Branchton Road in Boyers PA, almost 2 thousand people a day work there, worst secret ever!

I worked for Iron Mountain. It's a shit job with shit pay. Some interesting stuff to be seen, but mostly it is horrible.

Sucks that Disney doesn't have a vault in Iron Mountain neither does any of the tv shows or commercials throughout history
@hamsamick40028 жыл бұрын
I worked in the one in upstate NY and live down the road from it. I looked at tons of films to see what they were. It's mostly insurance company info and pictures. Some gorey stuff in there. We'd challenge each other to find the most shocking. lol It's cold and damp, doesn't pay well unless you swallow your way into a top spot....it's basically a shit job. It's great to look at and leave, you don't want to be underground everyday. It fk's you up.

Funny how most of the people who are storing items like this want youth to forget about history.

My Dad worked for Bill Shockley . Worked at the test site in Nevada He definitely doesn't want me, my kids, grandkids, and great grand kids to ever forget the history he was a large part of. Our government seems to conviently change history with every generation. Seriously look at U S History books used to teach us. How different they are from generation to generation. It's TERRIBLE!!! I'm very proud of what my father, David W. Diffenderfer was a large part of
@Randy.lorenzo Жыл бұрын
Lmao, you and whoever your father worked for are sick people and you know it. Obviously he's going to want you to know the history he's been apart of. You're his child, and automatically affiliated with your father's boss's agenda. The history he's been apart of is true for him and his family, but that truth involves taking away the history of those who aren't affiliated with him. That's the entire rest of the world.
