Blown away by this RARE recording of "Hey Jack Kerouac" performed (fittingly) in San Francisco at The Masonic...30 Years after the original. What a treat!

Saw Natalie a few months ago in Santa Barbara. Sadly, she didn't perform this song, but the show was awesome. Favorite part? She came out on stage and immediately took her shoes off!

Yes, I saw Ms. Merchant perform this rousing song in concert in 1988, when she was a member of the 10,000 Maniacs. The audience gave her a well-deserved standing ovation after she literally rocked the Garden State Arts Center with her incredible voice. And, over thirty years later, Ms. Merchant is still astounding her fans with her magnificent voice.

She still has the same dance moves from the 80s. Maybe a little less energy, but definitely still her moves.
