Rare!!! Quintuple header! (EAS #76-80)-NOAA

Extremely rare to get this many EAS alerts at one time. My radios weren't working earlier and then they started working all of the sudden. The unrecognized warning is actually a flood warning. The special marine warning isn't counted as an EAS.

I remember this day. Sadly I was at work, of course, when all of this happened and I missed all the fun. My radios were probably exploding that night with thunderstorm and tornado warnings. But didn't miss too much fun since it was aiming straight towards where I was working at.

Thanks! I didn't actually count it though as an EAS because I had 6 total alerts including the SMW and I only listed it as EAS 76-80 so I counted 5 but not the SMW.

If u can get Channel 7 in CLE, they tone alert the SMWs. Just something to think about when we get hit again :)

You know this happens when the weather channel you are using is not the location you set your weather radio to. you should at least include one of the locations on the weather channel to avoid getting this message. But still, good Catch!
