It's not the end of him. Parkinson's disease can be cured like all other diseases in this world. They can all be cured. All. The medical industry's approach is wrong. THERE IS ONLY ONE DISEASE. NOT 2 OR 3. ONE DISEASE. AND THAT DISEASE IS MUCUS THROUGHOUT THE BODY WHICH CAUSES OBSTRUCTION AND INFLAMMATION. HOW IS THE Mucus CAUSED, BY THE FOOD WE EAT. WE EAT FOOD THAT IS NOT ELECTRICAL. My instructor is a black belt under Rickson. I imagined one day going out and training with the legend himself but I'm afraid I'd instantly forget everything I knew in his presence. He'd be like, "What are they teaching you over there?" haha. .

I thought the same thing when I saw that my first time through the video. Do you know he has a confirmed diagnosis? My father-in-law had Parkinson's and it is a horrible thing for anyone to get, especially an athlete.

@@peekaboojujitsoo525 One of the best things to fight the degeneration of Parkinson's is exercise/being active. If he keeps doing Jiu-Jitsu, in conjunction with the new medications they have, it should help hold off the worst of the disease's effects. Michael J. Fox is a good example of this. His foundation also funds research and pays for some of the more (ridiculously) expensive drugs, for those patients who medically qualify. Parkinson's has a range of symptoms, so not all drugs work for all patients. I'm going to follow Rickson more closely now to see how he progresses. I definitely wish him luck in his upcoming battle!
