Man, systems are so comforting, huh? A little taste of control in the chaos.

See this is the BEST way to get out of side control there's a multiple of ways to "escape" the wedges of the side control, find a little opening here and there is the key , this BJJ 101 that people teach with the bridge bench press , DOES NOT WORK , unless your stronger , then your opponent ! , and you gas out! , it's good to teach to recover guard , but these advanced techniques can be taught to a new white belt!!!! "Work Smart NOT hard!"

My problem with this movie is that I was rooting for the villain.

Strength gets a bad rap. However, strength is one of the last things you lose. Id say those depending on speed and agility will have the biggest problems when they get older.

Best philosophy here. Unfortunately, many of the BJJ players I come across are primarily focused on leveraging athleticism. They do not care about hurting others or, in the long run, themselves. They're just there to assuage and impose their own egos. 'Learning jiu jitsu twice' is a great way to phrase it - not that they would ever listen :)
