I lived on Terceira for 2 years and loved every minute! I hope you got time to go to a local Festa and see Toreadora a Corda (Street bullfighting on a rope). I was there when they were building that marina. Great food, lovely people, beautiful island! I've gone back a few times to visit friends I made there.

Outstanding video! Looks like you guys have found one of the few places in the world that still has some cool temperatures. If I was there I would have a hard time forcing myself to leave. But I don’t have the wanderlust gene that you two seem to have. Wanderlust gene: Individuals born with this gene usually want to travel and explore. They have difficulty staying in one place and also typically are risk takers which I think really describes you two.

I was there on Terceira Island in the Air Force in the mid to late 80's. It was very secluded back then and very 3rd world. We had to really hunt for FUN things to do. Most of the time we made up our own fun. We saw almost ALL of the island. There was a road that went around most of the island in one large circle. That road went right outside the Air Force base and there was a bar we'd sit at drinking local beer. When tourists would drive by, mostly LOST, they'd ask where's "such-n-such" ... We'd tell them to stay on this road until you pass the railroad tracks, then take a left, you can't miss it!..... about an hour later, we'd see them drive by, the again, then again.... There are NO railroads on the island!

Love the vids. Can you guys do something on the stowage available on the boat. Weird request I know, but its hard to gauge how much storage you actually have e.g. under the floors, transom lockers, any other lockers etc because the Hunter 42 has a different setup to most which would have a lot of storage in the cockpit lockers but you don't seem to have those. Like how big are those transom lockers and how useable are they if you're underway. Also, is there a sail locker for the likes of a spinnaker or do you even use one (I don't think I've ever seen you use one). Anyway, like I said, weird request but I guess I'm just trying to understand the livability of the boat and storage is a major factor so just wondering how you're set up in that regards
