You can only lose so much blood & you only have so much skin. There's also a limited potential to recover from the procedure itself that's why sometimes you need repeated surgeries in case you were wondering

accidentally watched the full documentary of this in our CNN channel. I'm in awe and tears watching two little but very very brave babies survived this battle. My mom and I are crying. I can only imagine the mixed emotions of the family especially the parents and the pressure on passionate and GREAT surgeons and medical team who worked for months for these angels. The miracle behind this is truly unbelievable. God's true call and God truly answered. So heartwarming.

Being a 16 year old, i can see how being conjoined twins can be very difficult, especially in the head. The reason is because they won't be able to do everyday activities that children do. Go outside and play ball, go to the movies, and even have friends. I'm glad the parents gave in to letting them have a more normal life. In the future, i'll bet they will be saying thank you to the people that helped them overcome this rare occurrence. I hope these kids make it real far in life.

What a mother! She knows exactly how to act for the camera and the medical profession. Perhaps being a physical therapist has taught her what act to put on? Whatever works! Cry a lot, but always smile, say "love' as much as you can fit it into a sentence, and oh...don't forget to always hold hands and otherwise "maul" your partner. Then, the health care team will think they are sooooo well-adjusted, perfect parents. Its that perception upon which her childrens' life depends. They must always present themselves as such a loving, happy, well-balanced couple, or---NO surgery for them! When evaluating someone for a procedure, realize they're not exactly in the best position to present as you think they should, allow them to be real, but hey, like I said, whatever works! Good for you, Mom! I wish you and your beautiful boys all the best! I pray for the truly wonderful doctor who's life was cut short. Take care!
