Thank you guys for the 8000 subscribers, I really appreciate it, I never thought this channel would get this far when I started 3 years ago, with a few simple videos filmed with a crappy camera. I hope you enjoy this 15min, of Tiger porn! I will do a 10,000 Subscriber Hype video when I get to 10,000 Subs!

They must have felt invincible in those machines. My grandfather was in an M4 through North Africa and Europe and said he felt like nothing could touch him until his first Sherman was destroyed by an 88 in the Kasserine pass . He was the sole survivor. He had 3 more M4s destroyed with him inside before it was over. 2 Purple Hearts and a Bronze Star later, he told me lots of good stories at the kitchen table.

I will, from time to time, update this comment with meta data about ths video, arranged by time stamp. 00:00 This is the first production Tiger, chassis number 250001, being tested in Germany with concrete weights for a turret. It never left the testing grounds. Notice that, because it does not belong to the Army, it carries a civilian license plate. Its license number is WH-013896. 00:13 A Tiger hull under constructon in the Henschel factory. The end of its chassis number is stencilled on the front and appears to be "264". 00:15 Two new Tigers roll out of the Henschel plant in April 1943. The first one is unfinished and seems to be painted in red primer.

So Greatly Depressing and Heartbreaking to see these Last of Humanities Great Crusaders that are No Longer here with us but the Enemy Is. And a Big F**K You to all of you who would say otherwise. Germany Only wanted to prevent the Bolshevik Communist/Zionist controlled World we have today along with the Lies, Deceit and Indoctrination ""They"" have injected into the Dumbed-Down Generation(s) that followed. FDR and Churchill were Traitors that Betrayed the Entire Western Civilization in favor of the Zionist/Communist's and their Freemason "Secret Society" which was Only One of those he Warned us of before ""they"" Killed him just as ""they"" did Patton and McCarthy and Many others who found out the Truth, some a Little Too Late. Guaranteed that if those American's, British and Canadien's who landed in Normandy on June 6th,1944 could have seen their countries as they are today, Most if not All would have joined with Germany and when they were finished Exterminating the Bolshevik "Jewish Communists" of the USSR, would have gone home and HANGED FDR, Churchill and hundreds of other Traitors who not only Sold Out their People(?) and Countries(?) but began the End of Western Civilization itself .... That IS the Truth. Source material: "American Betrayal" by Diana West 2013. Tiger Tank...Its own worst enemy, more lost to self destruction due to lack of fuel, ammunition or isolation. For the numbers produced it caused a hell of a lot of resources to be expended on it. It was the Allies Bogey Man...Psychologically speaking it was a master stroke, stragegically it punched massively above its weight and caused countless resources to be expended on countering it, tactically whilst good it could moved around, neutralised by artillery or airpower it was probably not the most effective use of resource. Its now, a near mythical beast...
@thamor4746
@thamor4746 5 жыл бұрын
I would disagree on your point of artillery being effective counter to it. Airpower was strong against every single tank used in ww2, it's just that allied airpower in late war was so huge that any tanks of Germans had very strong odds in western front to being attacked by them.

Once again, the allies didn't defeat German armor in a fair fight. Th Germans always won the land battles so the allies resorted to carpet bombing German armored formations no matter how many civilians lives it cost. Secondly and also overlooked is the fact that the Germans had special teams deployed that would sneak into the battlefield after the fight was over and retrieve damaged or incapacitated Panzers and in particular Tiger tanks. None of the allies had such programs because when their tanks were hit (especially the Sherman and T-34), their tanks were completely destroyed. So saying there were only 1,350 Tiger I tanks built is not taking into account all the Tigers that were put back into the battle. Many being put back into battle in mere days.

My friends father was in the North African campaign on the side of the Allies as a tank crewman, a driver if I recall correctly. He told me that his biggest fear, second to dying of thirst, was to confront a Tiger. He shrugged off suggestions about reliability, speed and all the other Tiger shortcomings, the fear factor was supreme. "As long as a Tiger was in a position of higher ground and visibility, it could take out our cans at will, and command the battlefield until they ran out of ammo". I wished I'd had the interest back then to speak to a Tiger crewman from that campaign who live in the same city. His study walls were full of photos.

Dillon Mcconnell The T-34 wasn’t meant to be an excellent tank. It was meant be be produced in such numbers that it would just work and it very much did. The amount of Tigers, Panthers, and Tiger II produced were so minuscule that it didn’t really matter. There was about 1,500 Tigers, 6,000 Panthers, and 500 Tiger II. Compare that to the 70,000+ T-34 and it doesn’t really matter if you can kill 50 a day. They don’t stop coming. Not to mention that in General a T-34 is more reliable then German armor, while also being much simpler to repair drivetrain components due to there easy access to all of the drive train after hinging over the rear plate.
