For the people saying, you pay more to get less. Usually the bare metal is way uglier and has way more imperfections. They basically had to make the metal perfect because the car was not going to get color painted on.

i get your experience and where you’re coming from, but i can paint the walls with someone’s brain too. i think that- especially in this case- paint refers to a pigmented liquid that is applied to an object specifically to alter the look and color of the car. i think it’s pretty clear that this car is rare because it’s clear coat on unpainted (uncolored) metal, with painted badges on a very small portion of the car. i feel like nitpicking semantics of a short is just unproductive at best, but here i am
