Looking at the rare whisky prices in the duty free shops. Rare whisky prices are coming down and people are not spending as much on luxury items. Is this a time to start buying?

Good, whisky across the board is ridiculously expensive. Once hipsters and yuppies started collecting it the market was ruined for the normal drinkers

Great analysis Gert! Good job highlighting the fake special offers that fill many duty frees around the world. I wonder if we will truly see a reversal in pricing or merely that inflation will ultimately catch up to this current level. Time will tell. Kanpai 🥃🥃🥃

I think the Whisky bubble was a sign of currency devaluation. Look at the gold price now and you can see the same happening. Having a good store of decent whisky is a good idea but the demand of very expensive whisky will go down as people become poorer.

@@pl3317 indeed. As in the report all luxury goods are suffering. And from my poll even day to day whisky shopping is going down. Also for me. I will be slowing down this year. Thanks for your feedback.
