Ketoserts, you strike again! WELL DONE! I made this cake with "Two Good Low fat Lower Sugar" strawberry yogurt (only 3 net carbs per cup) and strawberry cream cheese; it turned out delectable! (I had the aforementioned ingredients, but none of my family members wanted them so I used them in your delicious creation, and then, of course, everyone wanted to try the results!). Thank you! (PS: I have been baking and eating so many of your recipes that I stopped cooking and eating vegetables and proteins ( I have such a dreadfully sweet tooth) so I must take a fortnight hiatus and refocus on vegetables and proteins. I've never seen gelatin sheets where I live. If I use the 2 tsp of powder gelatin should I just add the powder straight into the mix, without hydrating it first?

Hi! You have to let the powdered gelatine bloom first before using it. Mix the 2 tsp powdered gelatine in 3 tablespoons of very cold water for 5 mins then microwave it for about 10 secs. You’re good to go. 😊

Adding gelatin to cheesecake will help it firm up and make it easy to slice. Without it, the cheesecake is fairly soft and will gradually deflate.

Hey there. This is my first try of one of your recipes. Everything went great except it did not fully set. I used 2 gelatine sheets as instructed. It’s not as loose as before I put it in the fridge but it was drooping. Could it be that I did not mix the gelatine enough before pouring?

Hi! If your batter is starting to clump it means that your gelatine is starting to solidify. After mixing you can pop the whole bowl into the microwave for about 5-10 secs justo to help loosen the batter and continue mixing it again before pouring into the pan. Hope it helps. ❤️

Hello Chalisa! It’s completely optional, some people wants their crust toasted if you will not bake them. I personally like both, you can definitely consume the crust without baking or toasting it.❤️

I too love your channel! The downside - I can't have dairy,, the upside - vegan cream cheese works and still sets up. But, I must confess, yogurt after yogurt recipe has me a trifle discouraged

María Axel hi Maria, yes you can use any sweetener you prefer. I’m sorry but I haven’t tried splenda so I can’t give you any idea of how much you will add. But you can adjust any sweetener you want to use, you can always adjust the sweetener acdg to your taste.

Bloom it in a 2-3tbsp cold water and leave for 5 mins. Microwave for 5-10 seconds and you’re good to go.❤️

For no-bake cheesecakes, the gelatin is used to help the mixture set up when the cake is refrigerated. The gelatin is added to the batter to help give the cake a little more body and hold together when sliced. I don’t think xanthan gum can substitute for this role.

Ruby Francisco hi Ruby! Blanched means that the almond skin has been removed from the nut that’s why it’s light in color compared to almon meal. Almond flour usually means blanched. You can use almond meal or any nut flour in the crust. 💕

Hi! Yes, it gives the smooth consistency and makes cheesecake a little on the lighter side, it is not as dense as a normal cheesecakes.

hi Nasi! You can pop the batter into the microwave for about 10 secs just to loosen it up a bit before pouring it into the pan. And can I know how much gelatine did you use and how you bloomed it?

@@ketoserts I’ve soaked 2 gelatine leaf in cold water and microwave it before pouring into the batter, I’m not familiar with gelatine leaf, is all all the gelatine leaf is standard size ?

Made this last week. I don’t know what happened, once i added the gelatin, my cheesecake consistency went from smooth to slightly lumpy. What could have prevented this? Simple but It was still delicious.

Hello Mai, you can simply pop the whole mixture to your microwave for 20-30 seconds just to loosen the consistency.❤️
