I applied and had my interview 1 month ago, sayang diko naabutan tong video mo before ako sumalang sa interview hahahaha. super helpful ng tips niyo. I think my mistake was masyado akong mabilis mag sagot ng questions nila kaya hindi na masyadong clear ang Pronounciation ko, kaya sa mga nanonood po make sure to apply all the tips that Krista shared.

@@geneveveruiz7236 YAY!!! Congrats ma'am! Dba yung Onboarding yan? Bale need mo tapusin yang courses muna, NTOC I think. Parang "quizzes" yan, nood ka video tapos sagutan mo yung questions after. Unli retakes naman yan ma'am pero kung ayaw mo magpa-ulit2x, yung mga tips or info na lumalabas sa page, picturan mo. hahahhaha Jan lang naman sagot sa multiple choice questions na quiz. After nyan matapos mo na, mag onboarding ka na. Actual demo class sa kanila. :D Wala nang takot yan kasi pasok ka na, parang tuturuan ka nalang. ^_^

Yes po, ma'am. Yung orientation po depende po sa inyo kung when nyo matapos ang training kasi parang self-help type sya. Once matapos nyo na, mag demo lesson na po kayo. 1 day lang naman po yan, 30min -1hr. :)

Willing to work naman po as full time if maganda na ang background kapag nakapasa.

Thank you po, ma'am! :) Ma-suggest ko, wag mong sabihin na may full-time job ka kasi ini-encourage nila na mag full time ka din sa RJ by giving incentives. Also, bilang isang employer, mas maganda pakinggan na parang "desperado" ang isang aplikante sa trabaho na ino-offer nila kasi kumbaga masasabi nilang "ah, iingatan nya talaga tong trabaho na to kasi mahigpit ang pangangailangan nya dito." If kelangan mo gumawa gawa ng storya once tinanong ka kung bakit nag-apply ka jan, go. Ako tatlo trabaho ko, isa part-time bilang virtual consultant sa isang immigration company, isa full-time na 8hrs job sa isang audio-only English tutor sa Spanish students tas yung rarejob, tig-isang klase lang inoopen ko araw-araw para hindi ako ma inactive. (Although required lang naman is at least 1 class every 6 months. hahaha pero barya sa umaga nalang din pa singkwenta daily... parang baon. hahhaha) 350 na din yun per week. Wag kabahan kasi kahit walang ESL experience (ako, wala din. First time ko sa RJ), wala din akong certificates or anything. Basta klaro lang pagkabigkas mo at lahat2x. ^_^ Goodluck po, ma'am!

I just finished my interview and have a bad experience with the evaluator. She took things out of context & said the I "mispronounced" words which I did not mispronounce even in the slightest. The bar is TOO high for this evaluator and I will not reapply again AFTER 6 months clearly not worth my 5 minutes. She managed to fail me after I answered personal questions & did not even hear my side. What a waste of my time refreshing for those slots. Hope you guys find a better evaluator than her.

nataon lang cguro na mabait yung evaluator ko, sir.. sa akin kasi hindi na nya ako sinabihan na may na mispronounce akong words. pero i think yung gusto nila is neutral accent. i think acadsoc is hiring po, sir. sa ngayon po inactive ako sa rj eh. di ko kinaya ang sched nila. early morning and late afternoon to 11 30

yes po, naka wifi lang naman po ako. actually yung globe data na gawing hotspot, basta at least 7mbps ang connection, pwede. na try ko yan one time, smooth naman ang klase. :D

Wala po, sir. one class every 6 months lang para di ma deactivate yung account mo. 2. morning classes yung peak hours pero close po 8-5pm yung slots para sa new teachers. so makaka open ka ng 5-7am then 5-11:30 pm ulit. kaya mahirap makakuha ng students minsan. 3. bpi lang po. savings account.
