nah bro Steve Matai and Jorge Taufua played Rugby League for Manly. Tuilagi plays for union. happy new years🤟🏽💯

No they wouldn't because their no good under pressure. Their awesome in open field play but they crumble when the pressure is on them. Put them in a well balance team of races and they shine.

If the pacific island nations had all the players that have been adopted by the "big" rugby nations, they'd be unstoppable.
@TheFreeest5012 жыл бұрын
One could argue that those nations have contributed greatly to make them the players they are, whereas if they played for Sāmoa, they probably wouldn’t play half as good…….. and i’m Sāmoan

England been out doing our Mighty ABs for a couple of years now and Tuilagi has been instrumental in those wins, ABs need to play NH teams more so ABs can formulate game plans being familiar with their teams.
@mattyb37802 жыл бұрын
the crazy thing about that play against the abs is he broke through the tackles of three of the goats of their positions in aaron smith, dan carter and richie mccaw. thats some pedigree of names there.

Playing for your national team is not about the money. Imagine how much he wanted to play for England to choose differently from his brothers. That's determination.

A lot of the islander rugby players (Samoa Tonga etc) get picked up by the bigger nations because the money they make playing club and international and they send a lot of it home because they have such big families and the rugby associations from the islands keep a lot of the money but there is a new rule where if you haven’t played for that nation for 3 years i think they can switch back and go and play for the islands again someone like Charles piatau who’s a former all black can now play for Tonga again so in the next few years I think your Samoa tonga and fiji although they’re decent teams they should get a lot stronger

The patterns of color on a club jersey are not the same as they used to be. Todays professional rugby goes through dozens of sets of jerseys in a season and they vary dominant colors and patterns on every set. At that level jerseys are pretty much one use items. They are embroidered with the date, opponent name and possibly the competition. They make valuable mementos for the player to keep or trade or the club might auction them off to fans. Just because you see someone in colors that are similar doesn't mean it's the same team.

On the green jersey he played together with Alesana on that team

Tuilagi is all big and scary in the northern hemisphere, but in New Zealand, Australia and South Africa he usually tones it down because he knows he'd get sat on on his arse. Which is usually what happens. Love you videos brother.

So true. I also remember Guys talked up Vunipola big time in the 2019 final and Duane Vermeulen absolutely smashed him the whole game. He got thumped by multiple players
@harrybrown15132 жыл бұрын
Sure 😂😂 lets just forget his best game for England was against NZ and scored against them again in 2019, and scored against SA in 2021, next

I reckon had he played for Samoa I think his career would have been ended by injury. His treatments where both long and expensive. Most players would have retired or been let go by their clubs. Good player well worth the investment.

look up ben tameifuma the tuilagi lift at 16:46 ,, hes usually in at around 150kgs haha
@JTK_XXL2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, Tameifuna was around 150 to 160kg at that time. Manu ran in to him, stopped Ben's momentum, lifted and took him down. The momentum from Manu stopped as well so he had to lift him without any real leg drive. You can also see that Manu's lower body is further away from Ben, thereby creating a very unfavorable leverage for him that makes the lift much harder but Manu still lifted him without any problems. But then again, it's Manu Tuilagi so I'm not surprised lol

... don't run in with the head. Tuilagi had elbow to hip overlap and hit the tackle rising. All the tackler could do then might be to wrap the legs and hope to hang on. Size and strength and skill are going to win that 1 on 1.

Sean look out buddy. A week on Saturday the 6 Nations starts. The annual clash between Scotland, England, Wales, Ireland, France and Italy. Many of the matches are historic rivalries. The Calcutta Cup between Scotland and England goes back to the 1870s and this year's game is the second match of the first Saturday. Check out and don't think there is anything friendly, they are nothing of the kind.
