Great job Captain Larry looks beautiful. How do you determine how long to soak the cover/wraps? I'd be afraid of doing more damage then good by soaking wraps/covers too long. I hope you get a 4.0 at least.

Once the wrap goes into liquid, if it starts giving up ink, it will do so within the first few minutes that’s a sign that there’s no more sizing left in the paper, which is what retains the ink. As a rule of thumb for myself, I will agitate it for a few minutes and watch for color change, for anything that’s not brownish tan, but never more than five minutes each bath and never more than three bathes for a wrap.

GREAT job! What would you charge someone for you to do this type of service for them?

Sorry for the slow reply. I actually don’t do work for others. Currently I have a lot of backlog of my own personal items. What I do is actually teach people how to do it themselves.
