Very Very nice car. I have owned my GT500 since 1983. I drive it every weekend. It has gone through it's second engine rebuild. I got a CA. exemption from smog equipment/emissions back in 1984. So I have a special tag on the door for that. I have two suggestions for your car to get it closer to 100% perfection. Remove the "Caution Fan" sticker, and remove the black paint on the back light bezel. The 68 did not come with these. Log in to "the coral snake " regarding Shelby's to check for accuracy. If you have the Shelby Hub caps that would also count as original equipment from the factory. My car is not near yours in presentation, but I just thought this might help. Take care. Safe driving. I hear that it's being developed for a new GT500 KR and a new engine for big gas trucks since business owners don't want to have to deal with emissions on heavy duty gas trucks.

I drove a gt500 in the early 80's. Fast car we were restoring at the body shop but i've never seen or heard of the KR or i may have forgotten from sniffing too much lacquer thinner. I wish the video would have pointed out the differences between the regular gt500 and a KR. Guess i'm gonna have to google it.

500 had the police interceptor 428 while the KR got the 428 cobra jet and a few different trim items.

Kent Bremner Mustang... super rare of the rararest rare edition... i bet its worth over 200k easy... plus it has the same owner since '77 and its a convertible. Boy o Boy, thats a lot of cash

Only $200K? Some random rich kid will buy it and daily drive it. If it was $1m-$1.5m then it might be cared for a while longer.

It is worth at minimum 500k + , it’s a KR Convertible only 318 built and Black very rare if it was a 4 Speed Look out !! Another went at auction some time ago and fetched 720k so this one might just be close to or even over a million . Of course a 66 GT 350 Convertible is the holy grail of Pony’s - oh yes only six built and four left in the world one being Shelby’s personal car in his Museum in Vegas .....
